Hats,am addicted to Hats!

Hello every one, How are you all today?
I hope you are all keeping super Kawaii and have you noticed the darker nights! I do like this time of year cause I like to wrap up snug and cosy. However I so miss the sunshine, its been so gloomy and dark for the past month. Bleh!

So for a while I have had a thing for Hair accessories and such when using my wigs but I have such short hair I cant really use them on my real hair.  But  then I got a thing for beanie hats and berets which I could use and its know developed into trucker snap back hats.

Hehe any its all thanks to River Island and its sale that I know have 4 cute looking and very street like J-Fashion snap back hats. If you are following me on Facebook you will have seen lots of photos!
I am so glad they are snap back hats as I have a small head .  So they can be made smaller but also when I wear my wigs I need to change the size again to make the hat bigger to fit with the wig. So I tend to stick to the Hats that adjust with ease!

So here is a few snaps of my newest Hats sorry they are mainly instagram snaps!

A Sparkle crystals New York in Pink.

Pink and studs with leopard print hat.
a other Leopard print and black hat.

And my zebra style one hehe.
Yea...not sure why but completely addicted to hats hehe. You can find all these Hats at River Island and lots of other styles too. I really like the ones with the sparkles! I can be such a girly girl when
 I want to be...

Lock Shop Wig Review

Hey every one here is a new review post for you all on not one but 2 Lock shop wigs I have ordered in the past month or so!
I ordered a long wig and a short wig which are called Gemmi (short wig.) and Mermaid (long wig.)

The Mermaid wig is the Blossom one, its a soft brown colour that fades into the range of pinks that hide under and are seen near the ends of hair sections with a Ombre effect.
I really liked this wig when it came out and after a few months of saving I went ahead to purchase this one, I did sway on buying this one as I am not overly keen on brown shades.Any how I went ahead and bought it, I think this might be one of my favourite wigs as I loved the brown colour haha! As normal its easy to use the website and find updates on the Lock shop pages on facebook. I have had no problems when ordering from the web site even when I was moving house.

My Wig was packed well and secure. I have noticed that you do not always get a complementary Wig Cap as they often run out of these really quickly! So you may wish to order a few off ebay to have handy. I also find they are easy things to go missing.
Any way here are some photos - I've not altered the wig in any way I may trim the bangs/Fringe of the Blossom wig.

I adore this wig - It can make any outfit more colourful, I feel its a youthful fun wig but its not over the top in anyway.I would love it to have a bit more body and ''Waves'' in the style since they have revamped the mermaid style but I do not regret getting this great wig.!

The other wig the Gemini Wig a much shorter and different style to any wig in the Lockshop so far, This is a more interesting wig, With 2 shades one darker than the other and has a ''puffy top''  and a visible crown on the scalp .I got this before my camera was fixed so there is no parcel photos but it was packed just the same way the other one was.

This is a more Visual Kei inspired wig, I simply bought it because there is a lack of short wigs from the Lock shop and the darker shade would work well with my natural tones. I also got a sense of Rock n Roll from looking at it.

This wig will look very flat and odd if you are not used to this style. I didnt like it looking so flat maybe because I have a small head?! So I found with a bit of creative back combing ( thanks to my hairdressing days.) made the wig look a lot more fuller and bed head style.
I love the contrast of the wig colours and the fact it is a shorter wig.

I feel that with this wig it maybe a harder wig to dress with and work with a cord as such, its very emo/punk and extremely Visual Kei. So Perfect for all of you guys how love that look, To me I think this is a wig for my more rock chic look days. This wig also differs from the other wigs as the feel of this wig is much more matt compared to the other wigs, which made it easy to back comb this wig into a style.
I really am in hope for more shorter wigs in many styles from the Lockshop, I think the Visual Kei/ Gemini would look great in a variety of shades also.
Am just gona have to keep my fingers crossed!

Hope you like my Review!

I got 3 stunning necklaces one in Japanese one in Romaji and the other as a name necklace.

I love this necklace its simple yet its the background of kawaii images made this stand out and its a great necklace to wear for every day use or for a way to bling up a outfit there is something about this that looks like J-fashion street style with the bold letters

This one is a name necklace which I wanted to get  my online name on , its a smaller in size than the other ones, This one I can easily wear, I really like the Pink acrylic colour with the mirror effect, its very girly and petite.

The other one is the Japanese one with the word ''Harajuku'' a place that all kinds of Japanese fashion is born and where you can see all kinds of fashion, I place I would love to wonder around in a dream like state in lust hehe.
This one also has those cute swarovski crystals added to the pendent and I adore the Purple Chain that is not as think as my ''Dream'' necklace but its still a good weight to it.

I am looking forward to my next order and I can't wait to show you my newest items.

It's all about Kawaii- How to be Kawaii

''What is Kawaii..?" ..."How can I be Kawaii?!"...'' How can I be Kawaii like you?!'' '...''How can I be more Kawaii?!''...

I get these questions thrown at me a lot not just online but offline too often the ''What is Kawaii?'' one. So am going to brake these up and help all of you cute blog readers how to be Kawaii or extra Kawaii!!

What is Kawaii?!
(Based on the Blogger's own personal thoughts.)

Kawaii is a Japanese word かわいい Kawaī , It means in English likes of ''Cute, sweet, dear, adorable, pretty, charming ,childish, and lovely.'' Its a word used a lot by girls, teens and even mature women. Its even being used all over the world now because Kawaii things are becoming popular.
But what does it mean then  Well Kawaii can mean anything ''cute'' to every one because we all have different tastes. Some of us like cute animals, or cute funny photo' , others like cute 'n creepy or the Geeky cute stuff and others like cute and girly for example.
The list is endless!
source from pinterest 'cute tea cup kitten'
Kawaii to me is a bit different to the above maybe because am such a lover of Japan and everything from Japan. So to me Kawaii is a Japanese thing that is Cute in Japan.. think Hello Kitty Rilakkuma and Mameshiba. But its not Limited to cute Characters!  To me its also Style, Fashion, Music and Culture from Japan, Well that's my personal primary meaning of the word Kawaii and I don't try to limit it on purpose or anything I just feel it needs to be rounded off as a word  as it means many things to every one but I will hands down admit I  do use Kawaii for many other thing's like, to me my daughter is also cute or will do endearing things that are cute. So that is why I think Kawaii can be a personal thing!
copyright www.JapanLover.me
I often say Kawaii a lot, But I really like the word. I also interchange with both words Cute and Kawaii. Over all Kawaii has many meanings and its other main meaning to me is...
Kawaii is something that you like, makes you smile and feel cute and happy at the same time!

''How can I be Kawaii?'' ''How can I be Kawaii Like you?''

So, How can some one be Kawaii? Well its all down to personal taste and interests at the end of the day. What you might find Kawaii might not be Kawaii be for others not but its not hard to find others whom are Kawaii Kinder spirits- thanks to the cyber world!
To be Kawaii think of the things that interest you, Is it food, culture ,fashion style? ect ect and form there you can work on what you already have as a interest and research it along side Kawaii.

So lets have some steps on How to be Kawaii.
(From the Bloggers personal point of view.)

Being Kawaii is something personal. You don't need to change who you are to be Kawaii.
The best thing to research!  Get on Google and Search Kawaii.

Depending on your interest of Kawaii you might want to look into the meaning of the word and the culture and Japan. If these things interest you, you may find yourself in heaven.
Do you like art, comics and TV shoes then you will want to look into anime and manga.

Do you adore cute characters and soft toys such as the famous Hello Kitty ? She is also a good starting points as she appeals to all kinds of people and will introduce you to other cute characters.
Or are you into make up- why not look into Japanese Make brands and Make up How to's Videos. Don't forget to look into cute fashions and more so the styles and sub styles from Japan ( J-Fashion.) Worth checking them all out by the way!!

The reason for taking your interest and looking at it from a different view the Kawaii view I guess....Is so that you do not look and seem Fake or a Wannabe around your friends and new Kawaii Friends, We are not changing you or your personality here.

Acting Kawaii...

Acting Kawaii...okay this is when it can look fake, over the top and childish. You don't want to do something you don't normally do, as it will look odd to friends and family.

Being Kawaii and acting Kawaii is simple, Its okay to act a little over the top with excitement in your interests, or when you have found that dream dress or got a Hello Kitty plush at sale price ect ect.Putting on that extra drama to your emotions can help, and you will be Kawaii in no time!
The other thing is to stay polite, sweetly smile and respect that others may or may not like Kawaii.
''How Can I be more Kawaii?''

This really depends how far you wish to take Kawaii, some want to dress Kawaii where others might want to be surrounded by Kawaii items or want to create a Kawaii Lifestyle.

Its quite easy to be more Kawaii by adding little things to your  every day, from drinking out of a cute mug of coffee or making a emoji/smile cute face with ketchup.Picking cute charms and adding them to your smart phone and keys. Using a cute school bag or decorate your school stuff/ note books with Japanese stickers and Deco tape is also a great way to add more Kawaii.

Looking into the other areas of your interests and see if they can be made Kawaii is a big key to becoming more Kawaii.
At the end of the day Kawaii can really be anything to every one, its what you find cute/Kawaii is what matters and don't forget to have fun too!

What a (Hello) Kitty Kawaii Idea!

Hey every one! How are all you Kawaii Fan's today?!

I know a lot of you are at school and collage after a October brake, and others are back to work and the darker Autumn months are dragging us down  and so I wanted to share with you a little pick me up idea to cheer you all up and add a bit of Kawaii to your days!

I for one, love note books and more so cute ones, but I wanted to make it into a inspiration book or a book to keep me Kawaii,I even took mine on Holiday and it got a bit of interest because it was so colourful!I picked a cute book from WHSmiths, Its a Hello Kitty one so its already cute, but I wanted to make it more me and more personal! So I am gona give you all some hints and tips on how I did this and what other ideas you can add to it.

Its really simple too! Just pick a Notebook you like or a school work book, even a dairy you like! You may even wish to pick a plain one to make it super personal.

This is what the cover of my notebook looks like but I love all things Kawaii and added a Rilakkuma charm to the spine of the notebook! A very easy simple way to add a bit of cute to anything!!

This Notebook happen to have sections that were set apart with plastic pieces that were great to decoden up with my own style!

As you can see its very easy to make this Kawaii I used a selection of Stickers, Am rather obsessed with stickers with doing my pen pal letters! So I have lots of them hehe!  I used a mix of what I find Kawaii to me and even used deco tape on it too making the tape frame a cute post it note there is even some transfer Kids tattoo been stuck down on to the plastic, Showing that you can really use anything!!

This one shows the Kawaii Hello Kitty stamps that I got from a Parcel from Japan again I used Deco tape to stick it down and used a range of stickers from 3D ones to Glittery ones.
This little book has all my ideas for my blog, Doodles and dreams that I want to reach by making it cute it keeps me inspired!
Its so simple and you can really go super Kawaii with these other suggestions below!

Other ideas!

  • Here are some other ideas for you, why not cut out photos of you and your mates and  decorate the covers of notebooks and folders!
  • Why check out ebay for Decoden accessories you can add to the notebook as most of these tend to have a flat surface on the back.
  • Cut out stuff form magazines from fashion to children's magazines the kids ones often have free stikers too ( yay!)
  • Print out some of the images you find on Google and glue them on.
  • Add Charms and key chains to the spines of note books.
  • Use glitter nail polish over stickers for extra sparkles.
  • Use colourful felt tip pens when writing in your notes and ideas!
But most of all have fun and pick what you love and think is Super Kawaii!!

If any one has any Suggestions, Questions or Ideas for making Kawaii, Send me a email or Facebook me!
And if any one has made their own notebooks Kawaii from my Idea ,Please send in your creations and I will share them on the Facebook Page!
