Spiritually Kawaii

Hello Kawaii Kitten's,
So I wanted to do a post on something here for a while now about my current inner search. So I guess this is a personal kind of post. For a while now I have been riddled with being unwell and out of sorts. I think it gave me a bit of a wake up call. Both mentally and physically.

Most of the time I only share Kawaii related topic and such and it would be easy to think that is what I am solely about ,however with my wake up call or maybe re wake up call? I have other interests and hobbies.  Spirituality has been a natural like path for myself being pagan , am very attune to it and nature.  I love the fact I can walk in the forests near by and take a time out or spend time in my flower beds and vegetable patch . I can with ease find myself by the coast line and enjoy the blissfulness around. I think we all need to have a place we can chill out. But sometimes I think, I have lost myself and now am finding that its time to rekindle that side to me for my health and being.

Pika Pika! Pikachu Dance

Last week I found about the Pikachu dance..which has appeared on my news feed so many times that I should even know the dance by now. A army of dancing Pikachu's what is there not to love and keep fit  at the same time. In JapanPocket Monsters are set to dance their way through Yokohama’s bayside Minato Mirai district. So much Kawaii!! This is the second time in Japan for this event.

Talking of learning the dance there even is a dance how to video online as well! Now we can all bust our moves along side 2 giant size Pikachu's helping us with the routine.

Talking about these darling kawaii creatures from Pokemon. I have 2 cuties to share with you that fits in well with all these Pikachu's everywhere! All the way from Japan's Pokemon Centre . Thanks to the amazing ebay seller and friend at Cool_Nippon!  I got myself new plushies.
As soon as I saw them I fell in love with this and thanks to such a reliable and trust worthy seller made no second thoughts to buy these right away. My very own Pikachu buddies!

Back to School Haul - Kawaii Style with Modes4U

Hello every one , I really can not get over the fact here, the schools are back . And where did summer go!? Ah so much to do and get ready..Any way myself and Modes4U got together and they have sent me a few items for going back to school! ( Am not really going back to school but these items could be used at home or even at work. Am not forgetting about the mature kawaii lovers here!) I will be giving my stuff to my little one to use ,who is starting school.

Modes4U is a Kawaii Shop who have lots of items from  Japanese Stationery to Hello Kitty and that is just the tip of it.There is many items to pick from and this is your one stop shop for getting all your back to school items in one place. The prices are good and with such a range of items you might spend a good few hours picking the products you want!
Mode4U send me over a good few items for getting back to school started and of course in the most Kawaii way possible!

For getting ready and back to school I got a few must have items, Such as the adorable and ever so fluffy pencil case of Hello Kitty!  Not only is she so cute she is a good size with her zipper, lined inside and can hold a fair amount of pens. I adore her polka dot bow!

As you can see all these items are based on my favourite darling of cuteness Hello Kitty!
Also we have a exercise book, this is a square style one that you most likely would use in Maths but you really could use it for English too. I adore the fact its cute , roughly a A4 side and covered in pink leopard print with Hello Kitty and her stylish purple bow . ( my all time fave print and style!) I hated Maths at school am sure if our jotters where this cute I might of taken more of an interest. Ha..

Of course we will be needing to fill up the pencil case and use something with the work book. So I also have a pencil , one of those mechanical ones where you press the top a few times to get the led out. No need to mess about with a sharpener again! And its a pretty pink one and has the adorable Kitty chan on it in theme and decoration! Its so nice I might have to claim this one as my own! Of course an eraser was included for all those mistakes and spelling mishaps I will most likely make when am writing things down . Again this is a Hello Kitty themed item that has a cardboard sleeve to hold when using and looks so cute!

The other item with my back to school haul was a Re-ment Box and again it was a theme of going back to school miniature items in a hello kitty style. I got the School bag or the Japanese style School bag with a pair of gym shoes and gym bag. I have a soft spot for Re-ment boxes even though this is my 3rd one I have ever gotten! I like to use them for my very own BJD who is called Mimmy!

So if your starting a new year in the next few weeks then you need to go on over to Modes4U and bring on the new term with lots of Kawaii style. Am sure with all this super cute stuff that your gonna learn so much more and keep super kawaii at the same time!

Kawaii Garden

Hey there Kawaii Kitten's.
Hope you are all well. This year I have been doing fair amount of stuff in my back garden. Rewind a year or so , My garden was a wreck. A decking that was untreated from its last coat being removed, railings that moved if you placed a feather on them . Which am sure were ready to fall apart. Oh and those nasty planks that were a meant to be steps to the bottom of the decking that had nails sticking out of them... Not Child or adult safe. The washing line was on a slope made of rubble and a shed falling apart. I often would pretended that my house had no back garden! The main job was to sort out the basics, made it safe and stable. Once that was done and what a work load that was, The next step was spending the whole day power washing off old left over decking wood treatment. To then re add it. It was not the most glamours job but some one had to do it!

After that , having a new shed, and a safe place to hang the washing- with out the chance of braking a leg. Railing that were on and safe and real steps!I wanted to bring in some colours to the garden and I started with plants.

Okay so am no green fingers gardener, am more of your ' plant this seed here and see what happens'' kinda gal, So I got some plants and seeds and herbs. I love herbs and growing them to use in my cooking was something I wanted to do again. Saves money in the long run. Now this is all fair and all but there was and is something lacking in the garden. Yup so far it was sorted and plants seem to be growing well. It was time to put my kawaii taste into my little garden!

Am lucky that we get the sun from noon up on the decking and the sun spot under the decking all day. But I really wanted a nice seating area on the decking . I already had a cafe black bistro style set but it was not cosy or the most comfortable . So after checking out the sales and ordered a new set. Sofa with 2 chairs and a mini table. Perfect.  But the decking area was already dark and this is a black set so it was time for some kawaii fun. To make it feel more cute and cosy I went and purchased pink cute cushions to put on the black and brighten things up, I got my hands on some water proof shabby chic style bunting flags. Then after I got some pastel fun coloured candles for that area.
I was pretty please with it. I also got my hands on a wooden wind chime but they didn't have many shades to pick from . ( boo!) But I found some sweet coloured butterflies that I could have hiding among the flowers and plants in the flower beds as well as a windmill with spots. It took a few weeks to get some flowers to bloom in the flower beds. Eventully I got my hands on a few pastel shade pots and brightly coloured cute flowers to add to them to make it even more adorable.

Am soo happy with my pastel Kawaii Garden! Its lovely to be out there and get round to enjoying it.
I also made sure to have butterfly and bee friendly plants to encourage them to visit. I am planning on a few more flags and things to hang up, I got a bird feeder to put up also which you can see but it has a hook needed to be put up , Am gona get a few of those. Some more decorations and more bright cushions!

Once that is done I can curl up with a good book in the sun shine, or host a cupcake tea party outside!
Hope you enjoyed the post! Maybe you can take some tips and hints for your own garden space!
