Really a Princess

Yuno as I write this I sure do not feel like a princess.
Am in sweat pants and a jumper okay the jumper is baby pink and cute as possible while I nurse myself with some dreaded Con Flu . Which is why I have some time to blog about this.

My newest adventures of late have been becoming a Princess, Well a cosplay/ costume princess. Years ago I never dreamed of putting of puffy full sized over the top dresses. But it did happen thanks to meeting my cosplay sister last year. And then we had this crazy idea of doing more Princesses together.

Trying a Lace front Wig

Hey there Kawaii crew.
Hope you are all good, so todays rambling post is about me trying a lace front wig for the very first time. I have been wearing wigs for 6 years now and I love my wigs and everything about them. Don't get me wrong though I have had a few horrors along the way and some very bad choices when I  have picked out some wigs. I mainly use risky ebay ( it is always a risk when it comes to ebay .) Cutesy Kink is a other store that is great for wigs and fast shipping.

Any how Lace front wigs. I took months humming and cooing over which one to get in the end I settled with a ebay seller I  have used many times in the past . I picked a blue black ombre to pink wig .It was a long length one and curly in style.  Now the lace front wig is a wig with - well you guessed it a lace / mesh front. Which you cut off up to the hair line, making it a more natural looking wig over all. It also frames the face nicely and some have multi hair parting options ( mine did not its a middle parting but I have managed to shift it a little off centre.) I don't actually have a hair parting as my hair has a mind of its own and does its own thing ,which in turn makes my hairdresser cringe when I walk in.

I got mine and fell in love with the colour! So pretty!

I really like the dark roots as it blends better with my natural hair for the hair line. However the wig was like a 24 inches and I took my battered scissors to it and hacked off about 4 inches . I love long wigs but I wanted to make this something I should work with every day kawaii and not need to worry about tangles as such. Cutting it was not to bad when I did it and I also gave it a quick wash to remove any lose hair strands . I left it to dry naturally and it kept all its curls and shape. The main difference in a lace front and a normal wig is the lace bit you have to cut off. Cutting the lace part was easy enough though I made sure to take my time as the wig was just under £35 with free shipping. I really don't want to mess it up and have to send it wig heaven just like that.

Sooo my experience with my wig wearing it first time was on christmas day, I have popped it on a few times for selfies- cause I had nothing better to do with my time lol.  I found that I really enjoyed wearing the wig the main thing was there was no tight tension around the hair line which can give me a head ache with cosplay or fashion normal wigs . I wore it comfortable for about 12 hours and didnt need to adjust it at all. I also didn't use any lace tape or glue which I do have but I want to get a longer wear out of the wig and might use some of that at a later date but the clips held it pretty much in place the whole day! The other time I wore my wig was a few days in Disney Paris. Again I wore it pretty much all day but then I had not so much fun time  as my face broke out and around my hair like making the lace front itchy along the hair line and upsetting my skin even more. However the wig did stay on even with going on thunder mountain and stayed pretty much in place. I did get annoyed with my wigs parting but I think in general I was kinda annoyed as my skin was playing up.

Over all I do like this wig , I adore the colours in it. It has been a learning curve as I never used on or had one and I know now to pick shorter lengths and side parting styles over the middle parting ones. I also would say that I will for sure like to try other wigs and brands as well as get my hands on a few other colours and styles.

Disney Japan Ufufy!

Is this going to be the next big Kawaii disney thing?
After the amazing success from the Japanese Disney Tsum Tsums. Will the new Ufufy's be next to be the next Kawaii trend . Well I for one can only but hope as I have stumbled across these cute egg shaped plushes form Japan's Disney store called Ufufy.
And I want one!

They are the most kawaii things!

''With the story of "born from the clouds", "Disney ufufy (Ufufi)" is, like light and fluffy the touch of healing of features stuffed animals, such as the cloud. Sweet with the scent of Flowering Apple in pale pastel color, item can become a somewhat happy just to have.''

These are so cute and soft looking! I adore that pastel colouring and soft looking features they have on them as well. I have pulled some images form the internet to show these kawaii cuties off for you all to check out!

So far there is 16 characters to pick from.( As you can see from the photos!)
They look like they are palm sized but after searching about they are about 12 cm tall and 10 cm wide. So not a bad size. Not as small as your Tiny mini tsums but still small enough to not take up to much space. I also found out that they are all scented too , which is a apply flower and fruity scent.

They do remind me of the Egg mascots that Sanrio did but they also were much smaller in size.
I may have to get my hands on some of these!

Keep it cute, Kawaii crew!

Kawaii Pins!

OMG, who else loves pin badges?!
And more so that now kawaii artists are now putting their art on to pins! I am in heaven. I mind when I was a kid and my 1st pin was a CATS Musical pin. I still have it . I wanted more but my folks would be like they are pins , they are sharp so no. Gutted. I kinda forgot about pins as an accessories until of late and love that they are cute quirky and super kawaii .  I also noted that Button badges are coming back in again! ( Who else used to fill up the school tie with buttons being all edgy !LOL! Do kids still do that?!)

Spiritually Kawaii

Hello Kawaii Kitten's,
So I wanted to do a post on something here for a while now about my current inner search. So I guess this is a personal kind of post. For a while now I have been riddled with being unwell and out of sorts. I think it gave me a bit of a wake up call. Both mentally and physically.

Most of the time I only share Kawaii related topic and such and it would be easy to think that is what I am solely about ,however with my wake up call or maybe re wake up call? I have other interests and hobbies.  Spirituality has been a natural like path for myself being pagan , am very attune to it and nature.  I love the fact I can walk in the forests near by and take a time out or spend time in my flower beds and vegetable patch . I can with ease find myself by the coast line and enjoy the blissfulness around. I think we all need to have a place we can chill out. But sometimes I think, I have lost myself and now am finding that its time to rekindle that side to me for my health and being.

Pika Pika! Pikachu Dance

Last week I found about the Pikachu dance..which has appeared on my news feed so many times that I should even know the dance by now. A army of dancing Pikachu's what is there not to love and keep fit  at the same time. In JapanPocket Monsters are set to dance their way through Yokohama’s bayside Minato Mirai district. So much Kawaii!! This is the second time in Japan for this event.

Talking of learning the dance there even is a dance how to video online as well! Now we can all bust our moves along side 2 giant size Pikachu's helping us with the routine.

Talking about these darling kawaii creatures from Pokemon. I have 2 cuties to share with you that fits in well with all these Pikachu's everywhere! All the way from Japan's Pokemon Centre . Thanks to the amazing ebay seller and friend at Cool_Nippon!  I got myself new plushies.

Hello Kitty Sanrio Egg mascots!

Hey every one I wanted to share my new video of my new collection of Sanrio Hello Kitty and her friends Egg- Mascots. They are the most adorable tiny things ever! Mine came all the way from Japan and yes thats the full set I have. Ah I really can not get over how cute these babies are!
You can get your very full set here on this link!

You can also find here my video on youtube of me showing you my kawaii haul of the full collection in much more detail !

My collection came in a huge box even though these are very small there is a fair few of these adorable bundles. I also ordered something rather big for myself which I will need to take a photo of, I have been cuddling it so much and using it as a pillow I forgot lol!

But yes! I love these little eggs of my fave Characters from Sanrio!
I do favour Kitty but the others are so sweet , each on is so soft with each of them having tiny detail on them . They are small enough to sit in your palm and large enough not to be lost in a collection. If you are like me I collect so much Kawaii stuff. I like how these are a good size for displaying on a shelf.

I always get 1st class service from the ebay seller I use and get tracking on my items so I can keep a eye on them and be ready for them to appear on my door step. I love it when I get a box full of kawaii in the post . I also really like the fact the seller has the items in the box wrapped well and even in a Sanrio bag, this makes it feel like a personal and professional touch being added to the order as if you had ordered right from the company itself. I am itching to order something for next month and for my birthday coming up! I just adore such cute items!

Maison de Moggy ~Edinburghs Cat Cafe

Last weekend I went with some friends of mine to Maison de Moggy. Edinburgh Cat Cafe 1st Cat cafe opened and soon as I heard about it I had to go. Now if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you might have seen some photos already but its Cats! Am such a Cat person. So yes, Cat cafe...
what is it? Well it is just a normal cafe but while you eat and drink you get to enjoy the company of furry babies as most of the cats, who were very young and looked so tiny to me as my own cat is 6 this year and is a huge tom.
There was a small selection of cakes, treats and drinks and no the cats are not near the food , all the food is sealed away from the cats. The rules are simple- once in shoes off and disinfect your hands. No waking up the sleepy kitty's or picking them up.

Apart form that you can enjoy your booked time - we booked for 2 hours.-with your new furry friends. The cats were content and happy in the cafe which the staff or 'Cat Nanny's' have created into a very calm environment for the cats.  There is plenty toys and climbing activies for the cats to amuse them selfs and they get lots of love and attentions from the customers and the Cat Nanny's on watch. They have lots of room to roam about in. There was also a down the stairs was a second room where 2 cats were found and seemed to be having a sleepy day where the more active cats were upstairs having all the fun. I think one was Coco who was a black British  short haired cat, All the breeds were pedigrees. From Ragdolls to Bangles.

There was lots of places for a Cat nap or a place for the Cats to get away and have some me - time alone away from customers. Lots of hiding places to play and jump out on each other too.
All the Cats were friendly once they got used to you and some would be happy to sit on your lap for a cuddle and pet, where others were game for chasing toys or string around the room.

I loved seeing all the cat like towers and climbing frames to keep them active and happy, its like a Kittys playground wonderland. Also there was plenty beds for the cats to curl up on and sleep. The current location is not a permanent place for the Cafe - they will be moving later this year but it was only a 5-10mins bus ride from Prince's Street.

Over all I enjoyed my visit to the cat cafe, it was very relaxing, delightful and lots of fun, more so because I went along with my kawaii girls and we all had a giggle wearing cat ears and most of us ended up in pastels, the Staff loved our cat ears. For some reason I thought it would of be a noisy busy place but no it was purrrfact. I can not wait to return, to play with the kitties again and would love to take some other friends to share the experience.  If you love cats and cake and looking for a nice place to chill out with the fur babies then this is the place for you!

Till next time!

Cute Japanese Fashion -Review Wigs and Jumpers

Hey every one- how are you all, Today is a sponsored review of 2 items from Cute Japanese Fashion.
I picked 2 items one being a lovely looking Jumper and a wig that I spied that looked really nice, So let's check em out.
What I adore about Cute Japanese Fashion is the items are not to crazy kawaii but a nice causal range of items that have a cute little Asain fashion twist on them , stuff you might find on the high street but with that extra cuteness added to them.
My order came in a blueish parcel bag, both items were sealed well and packed neatly, as well they came with a cute gift of business cards , and some sweet little stickers with a pen too! ( Which I have been using btw!)
So first up is this jumper I picked!

It was the bow that attracted me to this jumper the bow on the front and the sailor like collar or a pan collar if you wana call it that. It looked soo cute also its a knitwear kind so its nice and cosy, has a little bit of stretch to it and is in a cream off white shade.
I really like this jumper cause its just soo cute! And because its a simple style it can go with any style or vary it in many outfit options!

I thought it would look adorable with my own shorts ( from new look) and teaming them up with the neko/Kitty tights from Japanese Cute Fashion - See more outfits on my youtube - making this a cute yet causal outfit for any kawaii day! I think I may wear this to a casual meet up I have  in my diary in the next month. I will take lots of pictures!

Kyaa I just love this little outfit idea! The only thing I dislike about the jumper is that it is a tad on the short side for me, nothing to major but that's a personal thing I like. heh . Moving on to the wig.

So the wig came in its plastic bag, in a net and free wig cap like all the other wigs I have bought in the past - thumbs up!
I love the look of this wig the curls are so nice, its not a very long wig but a nice length below the shoulders. I did notice my wigs inside that its a little untidy with the ribbons at the neck and the clips for holding it in place, but this is very likely to be when it was made in production , however this has not effected the wig in any way.

The above image is the wig right out the bag so its a bit messy as I gave it a shake! so my bad.
The wig fits well and it is light to wear, the fibres are good not to thin but not to thick.
The wig is however shiny. A big pet hate of mine but am sure a bit of hair spray/ dry shampoo ( only do this if you have lots of practice with wigs here guys!) and wear will dull this down.
I love the shade of purple is very lush and bright not something for every day use ,might I add.  It  will look amazing with the right vamp or grunge make up. Well that is my plan for it anyway! I think it would really go well with the skull cardigan I got a few months back from Cute Japanese fashion.

So there you have it , I would suggest you check out the items over at Cute Japanese Fashion and the Facebook page, they are coming out with new and more kawaii items and other adorable pieces that you kawaii lovers would like. Everything comes at an affordable price and the shipping comes super quick.

Till next time!

Tsum Tsums and Duffy bear!

I way going to add this in with my last post but deicide to put this in on its own post .
So while I was in Disney I had a few missions. I got to meet my fave character Donald Duck but sadly the numbers of Cast were low at this time of year so I never got to find Duffy the Disney bear.
-boo- hoo! * sobs*
Instead I took to my shopping missions. Obtain a Duffy bear plushie was high on the list...Until I walked into the Disney store in the village and my senses broke ..Tsum tsums everywhere!

sorry for the messy room!lol!
I really had to stop myself and keep my mind on track about Duffy. (Check out my last post about Tsum Tsums and the game here and over at Cyten.) Well after parting with my money I got my hands on a darling Duffy bear. ( A Bear Minnie made for Mickey Mouse there is a few versions of his back story.) Who seems to be very popular in Japan. Many do not even know about Duffy Bear! Any way with that one off my list. Then to my great surprise while finding a Marie plush for my chibi bean

we found a cute one with a paris theme to it and of course a matching Duffy in the sales soo...I had to have it too. I guess we looked a right pair swinging our Paris themed Duffy and Marie around the park as we walked about haha!

I will also up front and be honest I totally caved in and started to buy a Tsum tsum...which led to a other one and anther...yeah...Whoops!

So before I left for my trip I had 4 Minnie Mickey , Donald and Daisy...I came back with well a lot and I already have one on order as well. So when I got home from our trip a little parcel was awaiting me. ( Marie) I decided since they were so tiny and cute and would not take up to much space. I wanted the characters of those who I like and also met at Disney. Makes sense..right?

And the fact they are to cute to not buy I got a fair few as the UK do not stock them so might as well when in Paris.
Can you see me trying to convince myself I made the best mature logical reasonable answers on why I must buy these now?

When I was drooling and falling in love with all the characters as Tsum Tsum's My hubby pointed out the bigger ones and that's when I came face to face with my hero Donald Duck in the arms of my Hubby. I not sure , I swear he backed away from me or it might of been my excitement  playing games on my mind - haha. So to my delight I also became a proud owner of a big Tsum of Donald duck! YAY!

With being away and coming back , I noticed how much I have neglected my Kawaii room so since coming back I have been looking for new shelving ideas and ways to display my Kawaii treasures .I love having my items on display . They become inspiration for my Kawaii ways and Blog.

What do you think of Tsum's and Duffy bear?
How do you display your collections and what way do you set them up?

Keep it kawaii!

Tartan Kawaii in DisneyLand

Hey guys, am back. well I was not away very long but it me it felt like I have been away a life time, I have started 2015 with some Disney magic and adventure.

I and my little family went to the wonderful world of Disney- A dream I have had since I was a kid. Though mind you I was a complete kid while I was at Disney. But then I think every one is who goes to Disney. I went to Disney Euro in Paris and had a mission to meet many characters and get many photos as possible. Donald Duck being high up on my list!
I love Donald Duck.
So I could go on and on about how much fun and exciting the place is but am not going to, am gona be honest.... THE PLACE IS FRIGGEN AMAZING! I really loved it, however with taking Chibi bean it had a lot of draw backs from long waits with grumpy child or a hungry child or a child throwing a tantrum..oh wait. No that was me throwing the tantrum on the way home cause I really did not want to leave. lol

I think my highlights were just being there, hunting down and finding Donald duck and getting a photo with him. Meeting both Mickey Mouse and Minnie and being able to buy lots of cute things to add to my kawaii collecting. As well as spending lots of time together with my little family and having fun.
So here are some of my phone photos ones I took.

How to make a Kawaii Christmas

AH I love Christmas, I love the whole setting it up and decorations!
I often take some down time to get ready as most of you know that I also have a sweet Christmas star's birthday on the same day. Yup Chibi Bean will be a whole 4 years old on Christmas day! Kyaaa!!! She is already excited with seeing me getting it all ready.
Before Chibi came along I did not really do much at Christmas at all, I even tried to work it if I could so I didn't have to do the whole Christmas thing, I lost interest in it. But of course that has all changed since Chibi bean came along! I put all my energy into it every year now!
This is the 4th year of my some what famous Hello Kitty tree but am not giving out details of it all just yet!
Instead this post is showing off my DIY Kawaii ideas and other Ideas to make things Kawaii!
Wanting to give a kawaii make over to your Christmas is pretty easy, you just have to think...well think Kawaii!
Recycling old Christmas decorations is a cheap option and you can make them as good as a new item in the shop!Changing the colour theme to whites and pastels or mixing soft colours is also a great idea!

I took this old mini white tree and a mini pink wreath I had that I wanted to recycle so I took the pick like branches off the wreath and attached them with strong glue to the thin and some what looking sorry for its self tree. I was very happy with my new pink and white tree that not only looks Kawaii but much fuller too!

But what happened to the wreath's base? Well I wanted to add more colour to my Kawaii Christmas theme and happened to be making Pom poms and created a new Pom pom  wreath along side a new Pom pom Garland to hang up! And I even used sparkly wool and added extra glitter for fun.I can not wait to hang it up on the wall! Pom poms really can make something look super cute!

I also made with Pom Poms cute Candle bases ( mind you might not be very particle with wool and a open flame.)Which some of you might see at the next up coming Maid cafe as well as the garlands too! Also keep a eye out for my new Pom pom hair band I made thats pastel and Kawaii with Glittery like snow !

Check out this cute Kawaii Christmas Bauble!

As well as having fun with pinks whites pom poms and glitter I also have been having lots of fun with Christmas Baubles, which I wanted to make more of but never mind I have next year to make more right?
I wanted to make my own ones and it was really easy to make these! Getting hold of material was also easy to do , well I did get my baubles a bit to big for the kawaii things I wanted to add to them - whoops!- But then I found something to go in them and found smaller baubles to use.
I have made a DIY kawaii video to share with you all here on my youtube Channel!!!

Aswell you can follow the easy steps shown below in photos too cause they were so much fun I pick Kawaii Characters I love lots of Hello Kitty and my fave kawaii bear Rilakkuma and his friends too! Not only that they each live in their own wonderland of snow!

You will need!
Clear Plastic Christmas Baubles that can come apart.
Craft Glue
Small Toys or Kawaii Characters to fit inside the Bauble.
Glitter Snow of your choice.
And some Rhinestones to decorate.

Split the bauble and attach your rhinestones both in the inner side and outer side. Make sure you leave space between the rhinestones. I used tweezers to pick them up and place them in the Bauble!

Using Craft Glue or Strong glue to  place your Kawaii item inside and leave to dry!
Mine too 5mins or so. Then you want to add in the Snow, I added mine to the other half of the bauble to make it easier, not to much you don't want to lose your Character in all the snow!

Then using glue to seal the outer edges but both sides together and then add some string .
And there you have it Kawaii Characters in Christmas baubles! Just like that Easy!!!
Of course you can make em any size you want or any theme you want! I can not wait to see any you make and how they will look on your Kawaii Christmas Tree's!
I am looking forward to having these on my tree so much! Way to cute.

Not only making you own stuff will be fun but also it will be unique to you and your Christmas!
Keep a eye of my final Kawaii Christmas post coming real soon.
Till Later.
