Kawaii Christmas Inspiration

I for one like to put up my christmas tree just after we enter December and enjoy dressing it up each year. My blog was known for its post of the Hello Kitty tree I dressed a few years back and it still to this day circles the interwebs.

However over the years I have moved away from it as every one also jumped on the wagon with themed trees. Last year I just made my tree pretty, this year I would like to make it super cute and girly!  So I thought I would post up some cute girly kawaii ideas here on my blog to inspire every one who reads my blog. I may even film myself dressing the dress and show you all how fussy I am when it comes to my christmas tree which was upgraded to a 6ft one last year !

Any way lets check out some inspiring decorations that are way to cute!
I adore PINK trees! However if you do not have a pink tree do not worry you can still decorate a white tree in pink. Or maybe pink is not your thing, you could always go crazy with rainbow pastel shades! Don't worry if you have a small tree you can still be super creative with a smaller one as well.

Don't forget about decorations as well, These cones could be any colour! But the baby pink looks so adorable.

When it comes to decorations you can use the same ones that you would dress a tree to make your own creative pieces , such as adding them into jars, or on cake display stands maybe even making your own style of garland make with left over decorations. Doing some DIY at Christmas can be fun as well.

As well as theses really cute and colourful ideas you can find lots more on sites such as Pinterest or on google as a search on the images search too.
What plans do you have for christmas this year, Do you enjoy the run up and the decorations that can be super cute as well. Let me know in the comments below.  My link for my pin board is here.

How to make a Kawaii Christmas

AH I love Christmas, I love the whole setting it up and decorations!
I often take some down time to get ready as most of you know that I also have a sweet Christmas star's birthday on the same day. Yup Chibi Bean will be a whole 4 years old on Christmas day! Kyaaa!!! She is already excited with seeing me getting it all ready.
Before Chibi came along I did not really do much at Christmas at all, I even tried to work it if I could so I didn't have to do the whole Christmas thing, I lost interest in it. But of course that has all changed since Chibi bean came along! I put all my energy into it every year now!
This is the 4th year of my some what famous Hello Kitty tree but am not giving out details of it all just yet!
Instead this post is showing off my DIY Kawaii ideas and other Ideas to make things Kawaii!
Wanting to give a kawaii make over to your Christmas is pretty easy, you just have to think...well think Kawaii!
Recycling old Christmas decorations is a cheap option and you can make them as good as a new item in the shop!Changing the colour theme to whites and pastels or mixing soft colours is also a great idea!

I took this old mini white tree and a mini pink wreath I had that I wanted to recycle so I took the pick like branches off the wreath and attached them with strong glue to the thin and some what looking sorry for its self tree. I was very happy with my new pink and white tree that not only looks Kawaii but much fuller too!

But what happened to the wreath's base? Well I wanted to add more colour to my Kawaii Christmas theme and happened to be making Pom poms and created a new Pom pom  wreath along side a new Pom pom Garland to hang up! And I even used sparkly wool and added extra glitter for fun.I can not wait to hang it up on the wall! Pom poms really can make something look super cute!

I also made with Pom Poms cute Candle bases ( mind you might not be very particle with wool and a open flame.)Which some of you might see at the next up coming Maid cafe as well as the garlands too! Also keep a eye out for my new Pom pom hair band I made thats pastel and Kawaii with Glittery like snow !

Check out this cute Kawaii Christmas Bauble!

As well as having fun with pinks whites pom poms and glitter I also have been having lots of fun with Christmas Baubles, which I wanted to make more of but never mind I have next year to make more right?
I wanted to make my own ones and it was really easy to make these! Getting hold of material was also easy to do , well I did get my baubles a bit to big for the kawaii things I wanted to add to them - whoops!- But then I found something to go in them and found smaller baubles to use.
I have made a DIY kawaii video to share with you all here on my youtube Channel!!!

Aswell you can follow the easy steps shown below in photos too cause they were so much fun I pick Kawaii Characters I love lots of Hello Kitty and my fave kawaii bear Rilakkuma and his friends too! Not only that they each live in their own wonderland of snow!

You will need!
Clear Plastic Christmas Baubles that can come apart.
Craft Glue
Small Toys or Kawaii Characters to fit inside the Bauble.
Glitter Snow of your choice.
And some Rhinestones to decorate.

Split the bauble and attach your rhinestones both in the inner side and outer side. Make sure you leave space between the rhinestones. I used tweezers to pick them up and place them in the Bauble!

Using Craft Glue or Strong glue to  place your Kawaii item inside and leave to dry!
Mine too 5mins or so. Then you want to add in the Snow, I added mine to the other half of the bauble to make it easier, not to much you don't want to lose your Character in all the snow!

Then using glue to seal the outer edges but both sides together and then add some string .
And there you have it Kawaii Characters in Christmas baubles! Just like that Easy!!!
Of course you can make em any size you want or any theme you want! I can not wait to see any you make and how they will look on your Kawaii Christmas Tree's!
I am looking forward to having these on my tree so much! Way to cute.

Not only making you own stuff will be fun but also it will be unique to you and your Christmas!
Keep a eye of my final Kawaii Christmas post coming real soon.
Till Later.

Totoro post!

Hey every one, how stormy has this winter been?! and Christmas is drawing nearer and nearer,,Kyaa am so excited! So much so when I got a box of pink Birthday decorations full of  cute-ness for Chibi bean! Am not sure who the bigger kid is me for wanting to turn the house into a pink girls zone or little miss chibi bean whom is singing in advance ''Happy birthday ,give me Kitty Cake'' to herself.... Kya Kawaii!!
I guess I will be on and off around Christmas due to the celebrations but I will pop on to show you what Santa has left for us.

Today I shall spread some Christmas Kawaii cheer with you all!
I been saving up for a new plush addition to my collection, I am hoping to be gifted a Domo Kun one this Christmas to add to my collection also all to go into my ''Kawaii'' Room that am slowly doing up. If you follow me on Instagram there will be a high chance you have seen my new plush.

Who knows this big old grin...?

This Kawaii looking face?

Yep its Totoro!

Yay! Totoro is all set for Christmas too!
He is huge! So heavy and soft too! I love him very much. He sits in our Dinning room for the time being. teehee!
As well I also got hold of a really cute new hoodie and a new onesies- I own a pikachu

one but its far to big for me so I might  order the size down and get chibi bean one. But its a Rilakkuma one that is due to come some time, I have really fallen in love with Rilakkuma!  He is also on my list of must get in over the top size plushes-huhu. Teehee.
Getting back on track here is my hoodie! (sorry for the not so good images but was so cloudy and dark.)

Here is it with no hood up, its rather thin but I like to throw it on at night on top of what am wearing already!
I would like to put it with a totoro themed outfit ,not sure when but it am sure it would look cute. I might keep it for a convention.

Here is the Hoodie with Hood up as you can see it has Totoros face on the hood and his big cute grin, not forgetting his cute whiskers and ears too! cute! I also took out my pink wig for a change.

Hope you like my cute Hoodie and new Totoro!
