Hanging out at Resonate Gaming festival

So last month at the end of it , I went along to Resonate Gaming festival. In Glasgow. It was a weekend event but I and my dear gal pal could only make it the Saturday. Yuno cause being a Kawaii mum has its ties and responsibility but that aside I got the event.
We traveled via train which was nice for a change as we both met at the station and chatted on the train.Something I don't often get the luxary of and it was great to catch up with my pal. We got to Glasgow Central and jumped on to the next train to get us to the SECC ( 2 stops away) And then it was a very short walk along the tunnel to the event .

Cherry blossom weekend

Hey every cutie . How are you to day?
Thought I would share with you what I got up to this weekend.
I got my self some cute new pieces for my wardrobe and made sure that they can be mixed and matched for the summer months too! I was quite happy these came for this weekend.

Some new lippy stick by BarryM and new mascara which I picked up in blue by mistake! Silly me.But I have been using both the Red lippy and Blue lash statement , I really like having blue eyelashes hehe.

Hopeful for summer. Sunglasses in the shape of Hearts, A tartan dress and new red blazer, I seem to have a thing for red right now.

I seem to have a few more kawaii hauls still in the post so I will post about them when I get them too. But I wore my new Tartan dress at the weekend when I met up with a local lolita friend. We really just spend the day wondering about looking for some Sakura trees and made a stop in at the Cutie shop. A tiny little shop of Kawaii-ness, ( I really need to ask next time, to take photos of inside the tiny shop!).

Yummy treats and some Kawaii goods of Domo and Rilakkuma.

The Meadows were in full bloom and looked stunning . There was a lot of others taking photos and videos of the cherry blossoms. I guess they will not last much longer the wind has blown them about .

Hope you enjoyed the Cherry blossom photos !

Just a day out with the Butterflies

Hey-y every cutie!
Today am just sharing some of the cute images I got from Butterfly world- which is a place where they have set up a Butterfly enclosure where you can walk through and be with the butterflies, and if you head on to the back you get to meet some friendly and deadly snakes spiders, and some other creepy crawlies. What's not to love?

Now that the days are longer me and the other half are taking chibi bean out and about places, so this was last week ends trip out. We are gona try and do more of theses trips this coming weekend we should be going to the swim baths and visiting family - cant really take any photos at the swim baths lol  but we are gona check out some other local stuff that I can take photos of. so I thought it be nice to share the photos of butterflies here on the blog. huhuh!

So when you go its its really stuffy and hot.Its like a really big green house and yups ,my lens steamed up - gah!
There was so many pretty plants and green. And the best bit was the butterflies fluttering over your head and going about their business. After a while my lens chilled out and stopped steaming up and then I could go on and take some photos hehe.

There was so many kinds of butterflies here and they said you can see caterpillars in the greenery- I never saw any but they collect them all and move them to the breeding area , where they hatch out and become flying beauty's.

Some of the colours on the butterflies were stunning! I loved the bigger ones and the ones with the brightest colours - too cute! I also had a soft spot for the baby quails running about and the turtles that were hanging out on a small island in the water, There was also Japanese huge fish in the water . I can't mind the names but they were pretty cool and so big!

I could have just sat in there all day, watching them flutter about. Its such a wonderful place to be- magical and you could easily lose track of time.

I did venture into the other part, I have respect for most creatures big and small. I try my best to not judge the way a creature looks so I was quite happy seeing the snakes and lizards, an army of ants walking on a rope above us.

However Spiders - Urgh cant stand them, its not the fact they scare me its fact they have 8 legs, WHY do they need 8 damm legs!
I just cant! ~eee! I think its the bird eating spider and the ones that have health bars that creep me out that at being in a small dark room with them all, and wondering if that enclosure over there ...should be empty..

After spending a good while , capturing images and such. Even has some staff giving me a help look for good shots- bless em! We  then headed out to the Garden centre next door and had a lovely lunch. We had a wonder about and I got a treat of a pack of macaroons!- Yay!
We had a great fun day. So am just going to leave the rest of the images down below!
Enjoy!

Christmas shopping

Hello everyone, my goodness it is getting so cold! Okay I admit that a person who feels the cold all the time. Which does not make much sense when am living in Scotland, Right?
So I have made a start to my Christmas Shopping ,when I think about it. It is almost done!
Yesterday I went out to a shopping centre with my wee family and bought a few more gifts for my friends. Its only a week in November and am poor already! I think its due to the fact I got back online ans soon as my change of address details changed over I was itching to get spending for Christmas and treat myself! Having no internet really scarred me...(drama queen, Blogger 1st world problems LOL!)

So on a whim we went to a near by shopping centre after my Doctor appointment- Ive got a trapped nerve in my neck that is effecting my left hand nerves too.  *Sobs*

Nothing a bit of retail therapy can not help right? I finished of 3 gifts and got myself a new 2 new belts as my jeans slide down - Don't you hate being stuck between sizes!!
So here is some photo spam for you all!

The centre had its Christmas decorations up the size of those ball's hanging from the roof was a bit scary. I hope they don't fall!!

I love white Christmas trees something magic about them hehe

Am guessing that seat is for a VIP nearer Christmas...not gona catch me near him though, Did you know I am completely scared to death of folk who dress up as Father Christmas, Really creeps me out!

The bear and the polar animals are so cute though.

Some Images below the tree so sparkly and glittery.

How cute is this little display which was found at the main doors of the centre.

I think the little bridge was really sweet, hehe.

After a good bit of wondering around the shops, avoiding Chibi's beans refusal of going into shops and tantrums we stopped for a bite to eat and drink.
Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

I have been crazing Hot Chocolates of late am not sure why maybe cause they are so cosy and sweet!
so yummy!I also got a cherry muffin.
It was super yummy and freshly baked too. When I got back home I found a ''sorry you were out card.''After some debate with Hubby over who's parcel it might be. We had to wait a while till we could go to the post office to collect it. But lucky for me Hubby went out to pick it up,to my delight it was for me, Haha! Yea he when in the huff as he is waiting on lots of pieces for the computer and wires and all that geeky techi stuff of his.

What was inside?! Well it was my long awaited Rilakkuma bear!

a Neko Plush, (to go with my other one from MCM Scotland.) 2 sheets of Stickers and a dust plug for my phone in the shape of a bow in hot pink. Ypu can check out my instagram on the link for more photos.
As well as a busy day I have also been working on a new side project called ''Kawaii Kraze'' I hope to do a post about it real soon!
Lots more to come to the blog!
