Doki Doki Box - Review

S'up, So I do have a new post for you all . Again its a Review. Am sorry if they bore you . However I hope this one will not bored you cause it really is a cute one.  So What I have today is a Doki Doki Box* to share with you. I was going to do a un boxing video on you tube but for the past 2 weeks I have been very unwell and I didn't want any of you to be a subject to watch such a thing. Cause gurl that is sure not kawaii , is it now? So with all that outta the way let's check out this Doki Doki box.

Doki Doki is a monthly subscription box by Japan Crate which is new on the Kawaii market, There is a fair few boxes that I have tried and subscribed to and this one looked a little more promising as with all the ones out so far have been very similar and the items are sometimes repeated over and over. Any way this one seem to bring more to the box. Doki Doki is Japanese for the sound of your heart , like a heart beat. I really liked the idea of the name.

How to make a Kawaii- Workspace ,Desk and Office.

Last week I got a new item to add to my kawaii collection- it is the biggest item. Okay it might not be super kawaii right now but its my new work space and new Desk. My new desk is really cute ,its white with pink drawers and I ended up getting a cute pink matching stool as well!

I hope this work space will bring about new and wonder kawaii ideas. It took a while to build *sigh* and so far I have not really set it up to the most kawaii way possible ,As you can see, my Laptop is not even set up on it yet. It has become home to my kawaii funko figures and stationary boxes for the time being. I plan to keep all my Pen pal stuff, Camera and Laptop here too. I hope to add lots more Kawaii things to my new desk/ Workspace.

Cute idea and handy information the stool has a hidden storage area inside, It's such a cute colour. Its rather comfortable as well. The tiny one belongs to chibi who likes to copy everything I do!

Got some of my Kawaii friends on my desk too!

Can you spot all the items that I have received with the Kawaii club? And Look I have got my stuff at hand for all those kawaii ideas that will come to mind for upcoming projects.

How to make your own office, workspace and desk, super cute!
*Make sure its okay with your managers to revamp your desk.*

Because my desk is at home, I am very lucky to get away with anything on my desl, so please check the rules for your work before revamping your workspace.

  • First thing to do is clean away everything on your desk, its best to work from a blank canvas. Dust, wipe and take everything off the desk. Best to start with a clean slate.

  • If you can pick a new desk, pick one that is in a nice shade or colour that is kawaii.Or you could even paint the desk yourself. If that is something you can't  do , then look into buying a desk mat that you can lay down on surface of your desk and these come in all colours, shapes and sizes. These will add a splash of colour to a dull looking desk

  • You could also look at your chair or stool for sitting at your desk, You can pick one that matches your desk or even recover a office chair with cute looking fabric.

  • Look around your environment and see if there is space on the walls to put up Kawaii style posters. Or if posters are to big then print of small sized images to decorate your walls.

  • Or why not peg up with mini pegs on a string and have that hanging near you, with all of your Kawaii decorative polaroid photos.~Happy times!

  • Place useful items on your desk for example desk tidy pots, file storage and other items. But see if you can find them in a cute colour shape or even with your favourite characters on them.

  • Decorate everything! Simple yet effective and can be lots of fun. Use stickers, washi tape and colourful pens.

  • Add objects such as kawaii toys, figures to arrange on your desk, Cute photo frames and clocks would work or why not add some colourful flowers to brighten up your day. These things will make you smile and keep you motivated! Pick things that are Kawaii to you.

  • Pick cute styles and kawaii characters on Memo and sticky pads instead of these dull neon yellow sticky notes! As well as cute letter sets, stationary and note books.

  •  Why not make a inspiration or Kawaii pin board to have on your desk or wall above your desk.
  • Remember to keep the drawers to your desk cute and clean with drawer organisers , this will keep everything neat and in place.

  • Lastly , Keep everything neat and tidy on your desk. Put things back in own home.Clean it often as well as keeping it clutter free! And you will have a super Kawaii workspace every day to enjoy!

Hello Kitty prize!

Hey every Cutie!
Guess what, A about a week ago . I won a contest by The cute shop, an online shop that has lots of kawaii items mainly Sanrio and other kawaii characters and you all know how much I adore miss Kitty chan. It has so many cute products, I have shopped with them in the past and there is so much to look at.
Anyway I thought I would see if I was lucky and entered the contest give-away. You could win some items for your kitchen, My kitchen is the least kawaii room in my whole house lol. So I thought, how cute would it be to have so kawaii in my kitchen too.

So I was pleasantly surprised to be contacted to say I had won some Kitty prizes! Yay
I got my prize sent to me in about a week it was with me , I was really excited to get my prize.

My items came in a cute pink bag and were well wrapped.

The apron is so cute and fits well it has ties at the back. This is the image on the front of it and its says ''Kitty's room is full of fun and play.'' I have worn this 2 times and it has 2 front pockets on it very , its very light weight and pretty.

Also in my prize was this super kawaii oven mitt. Its so cute and fluffy with Kitty and a rose decoration on it on the outer side and the quilted side. I have used this mainly for holding the hold handles from my posts after they have been used to boil water. Its very handy to have and cute in my kitchen -Kawaii~

Lastly I got a very sweet hello kitty dish/hand towel , It has a cute decoration to it and very is very soft. I like how it is a nice pastel shade of pink and is so pretty. I use it more of a hand towel in my kitchen.
Over all the products are very good quality. Also I was given a gift discount in my prize gift. Yay! So I have ordered a small amount of goodies from a Kitty range I love the most. I am very excited to get them.
I hope you like the review of my prize goods.
Also a big
to A Cute Shop for the give away!

Till next time

Kawaii Club March Insight

Hey every Cutie!
Its that time of the month to look inside the Kawaii Club Subscription boxes. Yay !

So this month there was a delay in the subscription  . Oh well these things happen I guess. Any way it came this morning and that really cheered me up a lot. As I came down with a nasty virus and have lost my Kawaii sparkle for some time with having one buy after a other and this one floored me. So it was Kawaii Club to the rescue, This months Kawaii Club was all themed out for Easter coming and it was a Bunny theme. Kawaii ne!

Aww I do love bunnies, I think they are very cute. So I think my Kitty Boy Leo wanted to be involved with this month Parcel as he decided to photo bomb my Pictures hehe!

The reason for him being a bit of a Poser was the fact his belly is his clock and loves his food, It was his way of telling me ' Its lunch time!'.
Amy way back to the review. So My Kawaii parcel box was all wrapped up in gift pink wrap all nice and neat. It came with its monthly news letter that gives you a brief on what to find in your box and what they are, with a small description.

Here is a overall Photo- so much bunnies and Kawaii!
So What did I get in my box?

I got 2 bunny rings one is a bunny faced one and the other is a pink one that has the ears that stand up tall when worn, which are pretty cute.

A hairband that has a Lace material and wire ears that can be shaped to any way you want them to be so you can be a loppy ear bunny or a lop sided ear bunny, These are very cute and a pair that you could wear with out looking to childish.  They have a velvet piece at the base of the ears making them rather fashionable too.

Also with going on the whole bunny theme there is a pair of printed bunny tights.
These are the ones that have a knee high socks effect but at the knees you have the text 'Bunny' and a image of a white flower just below the ears that keek over the top of them. I have been eyeing those up for a while - I already have Kitty ones and bear ones. So Cute. I hope I can wear mine this weekend.

The other item's inside the box was a really useful item a Hot water bottle, This is perfect cause as a female and when it comes to mother nature calling , nothing beats a cosy bottle to snuggle the pains away. Also since I moved house we lost our old hot bottles . Also they were not the most Kawaii looking things either so I was super happy to find a cute hot water bottle covered in My Melody and is so fluffy too ! Yay.

The last item in my Box is an adorable Kuromi  hand/Face towel that is so adorable. I have mine already in the bathroom hanging up, I hope this will help encourage my daughter to dry her hands after washing them. Instead of running around leaving wet hands prints everywhere haha! Its one of those ones that have lots of those shaggy bits? or thick towel strands that absorb moisture better than a towel does it already has a ribbon on it to hook up and it lays nicely when hung up too.

Am super happy with my box this month I look forward to using my Bunny themed stuff. I wonder what theme next month's will be? Have you got yours? What did you think of the bunny theme this month?

The Kawaii club - package 4

Its that time of the month again!
Its the Kawaii Club Insight to what Keep it Secret have sent in their monthly Subscription!
^.^
Yay!
They are still running high with lots of ideas to send out to use each month and well ....I have a slight confession,I am know 'working' alone side with the Keep it Secret team, ever since they came back from Hong Kong and their hunt of all things Kawaii, they asked if I would be able to take on being their extra set of Kawaii eyes and a helping hand on the facebook page...what do that mean to you? Well it means I can keep you all up to date with the Keep it secret team, but I will not be asking them to tell me what's in the Kawaii club packages, cause that would not make its as fun for me or much of a surprise
-That would just be silly!
But I can say that next months package may be on a very slight delay due to the seasonal holidays and postal service so please bare with the team on this and if your new and want to sign up for the Kawaii club, sign up fast so you don't miss out okay.
So lets have a look at the Kawaii goodies sent for Package number 4.

Here we have the items from the packet,Every month you get a newsletter from the store, and an exclusive discount to a kawaii retailer of some sort,Which is one of my most loved shops Jiji Kiki,*goes off to spend more money aha*
The nom a nom goodies are Pocky yay!
*drools*
An Kawaii lil fella in green who is a tape measure, now I can look super cute when I head out to B&Q for my kawaii DIY needs!
There is also what I want to call an Eejit ( Idiot in Scottish slang) proof Sushi chopstick set.its a small case with chopsticks that can be changed to a fork or spoon by simply clicking them apart and swapping them over,This I found slightly amusing,How many of us think its easy to use chopsticks and then all fall at the 1st attempt....some of you must have had this happen.
Well fear no more and keep this in your bag when you next go to the sushi bar!!
Ill be giving mine a try as I refuse to use my chopsticks made from wood from Japan in-case I stain them  when I have my next Katsu Curry haha .
And last but not least see that cardboard like thing, well I was a but like huh what is that a note book or summit.
o.0
But its not its a super sweet fold up box with sentimental circus decorations all over it,I have been eyeing that stuff up on other Kawaii websites.

It even holds all my Kawaii goodies, not sure but I have a feeling this would make a super cute make-up brush holder when I have eaten my pocky...
I can not wait for next months Kawaii club!
*items may differ in colour shape or form in each package*

so there you have it my kawaii lovers!
Stay super kawaii

Kimich Kawaii!

Have you checked out Kimchi Kawaii?
I found them in a facebook group where there is a bunch of Kawaii creative artists. So I thought it would be nice to introduce you to Kimchi Kawaii's Owner.

Tell us a little about your self :
''I've been running Kimchi Kawaii for 4 years now. Started it off with mostly my designs and then branched out into crafted items which caused me to start a sub brand called Frosted Fleur de Lis. Cause you know, working a full time job and doing a side business for one brand wasn't enough!
I asked Kimich kawaii a few questions about their business adventures

There is a range of Goodies that Kimchi kawaii have to offer!

How cute is this bat...I may have bought it...
*SQWEEE!*

Jewellery, Charms and Kawaii Accessories
Click Here to buy in the mean time as they will be setting up a new online shop!
You can find the main page Here.
And for Prints and design Link here.

Tartan meets Kimich Kawaii Interview

Lets ask Kimich Kawaii some nosiy questions
*^_^*

Hello Kimich Kawaii can you tell us what was it that inspired you to build a business?

I've always loved doing art and knew it was something I wanted to do for a living. I heard about print on demand businesses like Cafe Press and Zazzle and figured that was a great way to get my designs out to the world.

What's the meaning being the Brand names? they are very usual.

My main brand actually used to be called Soy Happy. I was just figuring out the whole business thing and didn't do a search to find out if that name was already being used and it was. I was contacted by the trademark holder (very politely I might add) and I agreed to stop. I had only had it for one year at that point and my marketing attempts had all failed so I wasn't particularly attached to it. Plus, people were thinking it was a Spanglish thing since 'soy' is the first person conjugation for 'to be'. They thought I was meaning 'I am happy' and mixing languages. So then I came up with Kimchi Kawaii because I'm Korean and doing Japanese inspired 'kawaii' art.

Frosted Fleur de Lis was the winner of two names I came up with from me throwing a bunch of words together that I liked the sound of and making sure no one had the name already, lol! All I knew was that since most of my crafts are sweet/sugary, I wanted something that reflected that. I also had a cooler logo idea for Fleur than my other name idea

Wow that is so interesting!
What style would you say your aiming for in your products?

Definitely kawaii style. I kind of keep my Kimchi Kawaii stuff more simplistic and generally happy and full of bad puns. I like to make people laugh. Frosted Fleur is more pastel, sweets style, aimed at lolitas and people who just like sweet things.

What would you say inspires you the most?

People who can do their art full time inspire me - not just kawaii artists, any artist who has reached that level. That is my dream.

Where do you see your self in the next few years?

Hopefully, spending more time with Kimchi and Fleur and less time in the office at my full time job. Would like to be able to attend anime cons and sell at them all over the place, even different countries.

Do you have any hopes or achievements you wish to do with your business?

I think it would be so cool to be walking around and run into a complete stranger wearing one of my designs that they purchased from my online shop. My REALLY crazy day dream is that Gwen Stefani of No Doubt would like my stuff.
Seriously, I would just like my brand to be more recognized. It would be really fun to learn how to draft my own patterns so I could sell my fabric designs as Lolita dresses and stuff through Fleur (all I can do right now is put them up in Spoon flower and hope DIY lolitas buy the fabric as all my dresses are made using commercial, copyrighted sewing patterns so I can't sell my loli dresses).

Tell us then hats the most kawaii things you own?

^__^

Uh, that's a really hard question! I have some super cute plushies I got at some cons and online - like Kitty and Puppy Toasts, Mouse Bread and a super cute melon plushie.

Thank you so much for taking part of the Interview
Arigatou gozaimasu ^^

So many cute things!
Cant wait to let you all see my new batty kawaii ring!
Stay Super Kawaii
