Kawaii Life but am a Alternative girl

So it has been like a minute... I have had some ups and downs over the past wee while. Processing the of late labels that now are part of the House of Tartan ,so I took some time out . Pretty much I have been only been active on Instagram, which seems to be my go to at the moment . Even shut off chat on facebook for some headspace. Last time I did anything for my you tube channel was for a gaming festival/ Lego convention and then it has been left to sit and well do nothing.

So..What's new? well not much to be honest with you all, a few things is that am now trying to support some UK online shops such as Alluraura and Flame-Lilly . Alluraura have a check out discount code TARTAN15 so save some pennies guys! (Disclaimer I do not earn any commission on any of my codes!) Am not doing much else .

It has been a month since I spoke about nugoth fashion and yuh I get it am the last to get on that train but now that it has been a month of dressing and styling myself in this fashion . I really like it . Don't yall go running thinking that I have left Kawaii lol! Naw I adore my kawaii life and lifestyle but nugoth and grunge is for sure the way I like to dress and something am wearing in comfort. I like mixing these 2 things, styles, together. It has been fun. I guess when every one things that once you start dressing one way or a other you are to like make everything about that. But I just can not tear myself away form my kawaii life . I am discovering that there is a lot of kawaii even in goth/scene/alternative niche fashions . Am I slipping into more dark vibes and stuff? I honestly think its more my fashion  cause it just fits so well ..however I am thinking its all more alternative styles than like pure goth- white face and black lippy only. I mean, I still pick up pink and then I pick black haha! I think its totally cool to have dark vibes mixed with the cute . I mean we don't have to all fit inside a fashion or style box . There is no stopping me falling head over heels with Pusheen , Kitty and Rilakkuma! Nor is there no stopping me buying kawaii stuff so I would say I have maybe matured in style? Who knows.

I even been looking at spreading my wings out with make up shades , I even wore blue eye shadow the other day *gasp* and for once in my life it worked , I did not look like a 6 year old who broke into some naff teen aged marketed blue powder. Lmao!!  I picked up 2 eye shadow pallets from NYX cosmetics feeling brave picking those blue tones and cool tones. I do feel nervous when I use the colours but I have been looking to my favourite ig accounts and you-tubers for inspiration and even looking at more nugoth / grunge videos to go with my new style. I have to say that the new eyeshadows are really nice and easy to blend and use. I recommend them. I might make a blog post of a list of those I follow and find inspiring at a later date.

Anyway just a short post of my rambles and musing. Will try and post something more of interest later.

Cute Japanese Fashion Winter Review

Hey everyone today's post is a sponsored review by Japanese Cute Fashion.
Here is the link for all your cute Japanese fashion needs here you can also find them on facebook too.
Kyaa~ any one notice the change in the air we are already half way through November and its the season to keep cosy cute and warm.
Is it cold where you are? It has been wet and slightly mild here but to be offered to select some items to review I had to pick some cosy looking knitwear , one of my top kawaii tips for winter for staying Kawaii and Warm.

I picked 2 items from the knitwear section from the shop which has many other sections to browse. I chose a jumper and a cardigan both new items in store. The 1st item is a fuffly style cardigan, I am a creature of habit and still love black but try not to buy it cause it can be kawaii too. What I liked about this , is that it looks so warm and cosy! I also liked the cute skulls and cross bone details. This eyelash style wool seems to be rather popular in the high street shops.

The 2nd item is a jumper in a white shade that I picked. I loved this for its Kawaii sweet over all look again with a similar looking eyelash wool this one is covered in lipstick lips all over it - which is so cute!
And very fitting cause I love my lipsticks.

My Parcel was all wrapped up well and neatly for the post!
I had to collect it as the postie came when I was out on the school run, Thanks to that it meant I had to wait  from Tuesday which was the day it came. Till the following day to collect it! Item was shipped the Monday!

What I think of the items~
The cardigan I love it! It fits well (8-12 UK size) I wore it for photos and it kept me soo warm I had to take it off for a bit! The only snag is there is no way to close it, so its a open style cardigan .The colours are the same as the stock photos and the skulls are way to cute! You could create many cute pastel gothic looks with this item as well as soft grunge looks.  There was no lose eyelash fibres either and none that I could see come off on my top underneath it when I took it off. I really like this cardi lots and it comes in a nice price on the website. I rate this this a 9/10 it would of got full marks if it had buttons or a zipper but that's a personal thing ( just being a fussy lol)

The other item was the Lippy Jumper as I call it lol! Again its the same as the stock image, it said it was a size UK 6-10, It did look small but I would say the sizes are spot on. Like the Cardi the martial is stretchy-ish. Is that a word?! I LOVE this Jumper its mega cute and sassy. The lip sticks marks are so cute haha. I also like how the base colour is pink and the fluffy eyelash wool is white giving it a nice cream colour.
I rate this one FULL marks 10/10! Would I recommend this online store? YES!
This order has been great and stylish for winter cosy items

Here are my worn photos!

Hope enjoyed my review!

Is Kawaii hitting Topshop?

Hey Cuties,
So its not very often I will buy Glossy Magazines. I normally will pick up Hello Kitty or Peppa Pig for chibi bean or Neo Mag for myself but today I saw a offer on 3 magazines and bought them and found that one of them had a feature on Top Shop's new designer range .. my mouth fell open when I saw this stuff. I had to do a double take!
So I thought I would show you some of the stuff I found!
Some of the Range by Meadham Kirchhoff is uhum...bright and not really my style but what sprung to mind was Pastels and Kawaii with the other pieces.
Am sure you Fairy kei and pastel /White Goths, Decora , Magical girls are going to love some of this stuff!

Okay, Okay. This one I fell in love with it but am a complete sucker for pink animal print ..huhu so cute!
But here is the other stuff below that I want to show you!

As you can see its a mix of pastels and very flowing items. I really love those shoes those are just crazy! I would not wear them myself but I bet they would look adorable on a sweet lolita! There is a Baby doll style dress and even cute Skirts to be found.

There is a ton of cute pastel shade tights and very cute cherry themed socks that are utterly adorable!
The blouse is also so Kawaii and I would love to see some of the j-fashion enthusiast's online collaborating it in with their own styles! Maybe some on could send me a photo - I so would show it on the Facebook Page. I bet it would look so Kawaii.

Check out these cute hold ups! nyaa so sweet. hehe.

I have to admit the price tag is rather high for myself but then I would want to spend my money on other things hehe! (or maybe save up for that lush top...*plots*)
Since this was on the higher gloss fashion magazines I wonder how long till the others take on pastel shades and cute looks.Am rather shocked its in a ''High Street'' Shop but its rather nice to see the High street explore new trends (okay, not new to us J-Fashion lovers.) But yea..you get my drift.
I wonder if the public are ready to take on Kawaii Fashions now that it is slowly being seen more and more with J-Fashion lover's and stylish idol's daring to be different.

Do you want to see more Kawaii in ''normal/casual'' high street fashion?
Would you like to see more people dress more Kawaii? Or do you think that the style here in the UK is to mature for dressing in Kawaii styles?
I'd love to hear your views on this so comment below...
