Kawaii NEW make up Haul

And so about a week ago, I did a order with cutECOmestics, a UK retailer who sell vegan and or cruelty free products. These range from Badger balm to Sugarpill .
This is my second order from the company. The website is easy to use and the process is simple enough. Shipping is pretty fast about 3 days for shipping. And it all comes in a large package.
I will be making a future purchase with this company again as I like the range that have but a lot of the products are sold out (*_*).
This came inc postage around £20-25 . I think, I really cant mind haahaa.  So Manga brows is a interesting product. It is made by Neve Cometics and is a double ended brow pencil- all in the name there Manga brows. So one end is a light brown the other dark and one lid cap has a hidden brow brush. It is meant to give you more 3D manga like brows.

I can not tell is this is a product I like, Ever since I been using the Barry M brow kit I found it gives such a nice brow shape to my brows I have favoured it more and its half the price too. But After playing about with the Manga Brows I have found it gives a soft natural shade in colours , its much quicker and easier to use. I do not have much time for make up every school morning having to be organising every one out the door on time . So I guess its a handy item to have. More so with it being double ended and the hidden brush so that it save time hunting for the right pencil and brush in the morning - still half asleep and wanting just to go back to bed. Am not a morning person! I did find this might be a little over priced but hey your allowed a treat once in a while.
It's totally worth checking out the eye shadow pallets by Neve too if you get the chance!

Moving on is Concrete Minerals eye shadow in shade trouble maker.  A other Vegan and Cruelty-Free product. This is a medium brow with gold through it. I wanted to try the products out from this company and expand my make up product range . I was drawn to this one and a other one which I would like to buy later called Hustle. I have worn it twice so far and its a very nice product, very light to wear and you can build up the colour . I liked to ware it lighter on my lids as it looked more black that brown when I added more colour.  I can not say for sure if its a keeper for my make up bag but I do want to try the other shades or maybe splash out on a bundle set.

So the last time is an Apocalipstick- that's a mouthful to say this .Which is by Lunastick cosmetics Labs.It is the shade Slick Crytp Cream. Its a coral pink with a hint of nude , I guess is the only way to describe it. This is a liquid lippy. But GASP! its not one that turns to a Matt finish , just a normal lippy finish. This is my 3rd one I might even do a blog post on all of them cause I love them so much. Even though I favour matt finish. This is also not a shade I would normally pick but it reminded me of a cheap high street drug store colour that I really liked,so I wanted to have some thing that was well, not as cheap and would last . Am not looking at any brand in particular *cough* MUA Academy *cough*. This is a nice replacement and lasts a good 4-6 hours on and when it wears off it still has a tint of the shade left on your lips and is very nice to wear. Its one of my faves this month!

Any way that's my insight to my Haul of new Make up I have a other haul to show you and pass on my Kawaii wisdom of it all and hope your excited to see it as its all make up products from Korea!

Kawaii Pastels fashion on the highstreet

Hello every cutie.
How are you all doing. I thought I would share some Kawaii fashion finds that you can get on the local high street brands and some online retailers too. There is still a lot of Pastel shades in the shops. I guess with it bring spring every one likes to wear pastel shades.
And then there is me shying away from them and picking more bolder shades to wear, personally I do not think I suit pastel colours. But I do like looking at them and think they look super cute too.

I spotted this cute powder pink cross over bag from Boohoo.com. And I love the shade and style of this bag and its a steal at a mere £15!

The other thing that has surfaced to the fashion world is the Wrapped skorts and skorts.
Looks like a wrapped/skirt but worn like shorts. These are not new, I used to own a pair once upon a time but what I love about them is the fact when there was no worry of the wind to catch your skirt . They are so Kawaii!  Yay! I hope they catch on again hehe.
Mind you am not very keen on the Wrap style.

The other thing that I found was cute beanie hats that still are found in the shops, no wonder it feels like spring and summer are so far away! Its not been a nice start to the year weather wise. But this spring themed daisy cosy beanie hat has caught my eye. It is so adorable looking. You can find it in River Island by the way.

A other cute bag I found was from Boohoo.com again. I find that place can be a hit or a miss but then I guess it depends on what you are buying however I saw this and thought it was super cute a Lavender shade back pack. I really like its colour and the over all style of it .

It would be pretty cool to use it as a school or collaged bag. And a nice change from the dull back ones. hehe.

To keep with the spring time pastel themes here I found this cute hair band. Which is rabbit ears with Daisy flower heads on the ears. from River island. Hehe its adorable and would make a cute hair statement and for a themed Easter picnic too.

There is so many cute things in the shops right now, its just a case of keeping a kawaii eye open.

Oh and don't forget about your chemists and make up sections in stores because they also have jumped into spring! With really nice pastel shades, colours and textures in nail polish and there is some really cute baby pinks in the blusher counters and sweet soft mints and baby blues for your eyes!
For example look at this stunning pallet by Barry M and its cute packaging too, Kyaa!

I do like seeing these pastels and spring themed items at this time of the year - it gives a bit of hope to warmer weather to come and I look forward to wearing more dresses and skirts in the year too. Have you already picked up your pastel shades in your own styles and fashions or are you looking for more bold colours and prints for spring?!

Kawaii is not just one type of Fashion or Colour Pallet

Hey every cutie, am sure that all of you know that ,Kawaii is used in many kinds of fashions.

source Google
But have you noticed it gets more of an association on more fashions than others, Lets focus on J-Fashions, There is so many kinds and many sub fashions. But have you noticed once  these reach out of Japan and slowly make their way to the UK there is  are only a few main ones that stand out and some even stay in the UK. Some times Trends come this way but they don't last as long as they do every where else.

source Tumblr

Am gonna pick a few like of Sweet Lolita, Fairy Kei and say Hime Gyaru. Okay so I may or may not have picked  some fashions there because they are all often have the use of Pastel shades.
It did not take long for then Pastel shades to also become kawaii, I have no issue with that at all. These colours and styles seem to be a bit more accepted in the alternative fashions and in the UK, But what about all the other  brighter

Fashions. I wonder if  and why they are being left out?
With so many styles getting more attention that other ones ,you often find these  Lighter colours will come up on a Google search more often and tagged a lot more on tumblr, than the other colours, I guess I wanted to share that Kawaii is not just one Colour Pallet or shades, its every shade and Pallet. Its also can be in every fashion and style.

I wanted to do a post on more colourful , brighter and more Creative styles of Kawaii. Personally I wonder why many do not wear these sort of fashions -

Is it because the UK in fashion and in the public eye, is not very brave to stand out and be Brighter. Is it because we are to wear dull colours to work/school and get so comfortable that we forget about a splash of colour? Or are we scared to stand out from the crowd and be different? Are we scared to look like we are clown's escaped from a circus? Can we wear Kawaii and Bright Colours together? Maybe we are to mature to wear something that might look childish to on lookers which is why Pastels are easier to wear and not stand out as much.

I know am very lucky to be able to wear what I want  more a less every day but even I find I end up wearing darker colours at times.

But because I have made a promise to be more colourful in outfits and more kawaii maybe my post here might inspire you. Its also very easy to do is well ! But let's get some inspiration form the streets of Japan where I think we can at least pick a few ideas and adapt them to our own styles.

I guess most inspiration comes from Harajuku Fashion trends, then adapts its way into other fashions. I can imagen that there is new and wonderful ideas coming from there all the time. I love seeing the styles that are colourful in primary shades of colour (Red Blue and Yellow btw.)

There is lots of over the top and layering in some Kawaii fashions but you don't have to do this you can make your outfits kawaii in a simple way and can you can bring in brighter colours with this too.

Mixing styles together is so much fun too. What about Pastel shades with Street styles or Adding brighter tones to your normal Lolita wardrobe? Do you have any crazy accessories or items that you could easily use or even re-vamp to use. DIY Kawaii and hand made are a huge thing over in Japan fashions too.

What do you think? Do you think Bold colours will make a come back. Do you think Bright colours are Kawaii or not? What are your thoughts is Kawaii limited to only girly pastel shades or your imagination is the limit .

But remember , Wear what you enjoy wearing.

Make-up Haul Review

Hello Kawaii lovers!
How are you all today?
Today I got my newest Haul of make up thanks to Superdrug 3 for 2 offer, on all make-up that is currently in stores and online. I took the chance to try some new make up and get some much needed foundation powders! I wanted to try this branded name Sleek. I have seen it many times in the shop but never got round to trying it out.
Any how my parcel came mid week with my products, since I have to travel to Superdrug or any other shop in that matter...Online shopping is a god send hehe!
You can pick up Sleek make up online from them direct too here with the Link here, and also on Facebook .
What I do like about the Sleek Website is when you look at the products and read about them , they have a bit down the bottom where it tells you how to use the products too! Cool, Huh?!

Here are the products I got a Press Powder a Base Duo Kit and a pallet called Face form.
The product packages are, well sleek lol!
They are simple and well all in black, am thinking its their trademark or something, I like black but the way they use the pallets and everything having a mirror is a great extra which you can see from my photos.

Each of my pieces had their own mirrors and the duo box was cleverly designed to fit the product into the box. The press powder has its own sponge, I will be using my own brushes for it though.
Here are some close ups for you to see.

The middle and right colours have more of a shimmer to the make-up and the one of the left of the Face form is a matt and slightly darker shade.I got the Light shade.

I got the Duo Set in Bamboo, I really should have gone for a lighter shade with the crem'e as its a tad to dark but nothing I cant adjust myself. I think White rose would be better or in the Shell shade.
I now know for next time ,teehee.

Here is the Press powder that has a SPF 15 and is to give a Suede effect, I have noticed it has a shimmer through this but gives a nice matt finish to the make- up.
Am fairly happy with my items and love the Face form its great! Over all, I like the nice even base  they all give you and its easy to work with this make up and more so with the selection of shades you can buy.
I think can see me using and buying Sleek products in the future, more so with the reasonable prices for the items too.
I have been requested to review more make up but next time I shall be looking into researching ...yup you guessed it  Japanese brands. As am looking for Dolly like eye make up its high up on my list of  eye make up products so watch this space as its gona be a great blog post to look forward too!
*But keep in mind its not just the brand or where its from that always matters, its how you do your make up to achieve your looks.

Till next time.
