Keep it Secret's *NEW* Kawaii Range!

Hello every Cutie!
Today I will be a sponsored review for keep-it-secret. Your UK retailer of Kawaii goodies. This is a very exciting review because these are BRAND NEW IN!
Coming soon!!
So with out further a due, I give you the most Kawaii, pop culture clothing line, that is only available at Keep it Secret in the UK.
JUIZYWOOZY!
I have been in love with this brand as soon as I lay my eyes on it! I have wanted some of their stuff so long! Its a colourful vibrate and the most kawaii designs. huhuh I fell in love- so much Kawaii.
So I got my parcel in the post and am going to show you what I got ! eee!

Item Arrival
This is the item boxed- how cute it this?! Its shaped and designed as a milk carton and is so colourful and cute. There is even a window part to see your item- nyaa cute. I love the designs and images the milk carton.
The product I got to review was inside, Its a Jumper and when I took it out the first thing I noticed how soft it was- like super soft.

The Item
Once laid out  you can see the jumper is long sleeved  has a image on it. The image is very clear and very big. Great for a statement piece. The colour is a lovely sky blue, I was super happy to get a colour I don't own or wear much as I saw this as a great chance to experiment with making up a outfit.
I really had a hard time at 1stas I had nothing to go with the blue ...but because there is few pink details in the jumper. I teamed it up with other pinks to make a nice overall look. The Slogan on the top says '' Feeling blue.'' and the picture is a super cute bear  wearing a pink and white bow tie, whom seems to have used the paint bucket to paint lots of blue . Under the slogan it has some Kanji and  the juizy woozy signature. It also has a printed juizy woozy on the back at the base of the neck. You will find this item is also a round neck line shape. nyaa its just so cute!

Size
This line of product have their own sizing system. They are numbers 1-4 and a 1 works out as a extra small or a uk 6 , The  2 works out as small and a uk 8, The  3 a medium and a uk 10, and  finally the 4 works out as a large and is a uk 12.
I got a 2 size which is a uk 8. Am a size 10-12 UK size ( I love baggy jumpers!) and I found this jumper to be a nice size on me and it has some room so you can layer up in the colder weather! So am very happy with the size and  it is made of very soft 100% combed cotton.

Product quality
The image is printed on to the jumper, I checked the inside to see if print was sticky on the inside. I find some times jumpers or tops often have that and it is annoying but its not the case hear- yay!
The Jumper is not the thickest jumper I own , but its not paper thin either which means you just layer up on colder weather and you can wear this jumper with out melting either. haha! All the stitching is neat and tidy. I found no lose threads .So am super happy with the quality of this jumper

Over all thoughts
Over all, I love my jumper, is is super comfortable on and so colourful, The box is came in is so cute and the character on the jumper is so sweet and adorable If you love the fashion and pop - culture this is your sort of thing. I would recommend these to a friend who also likes this kind of style and will be looking forward to more item that will be coming into stock! I have seen some sneaky insights at Keep it Secrets Instagram and fallen in love with some of the other items.

Rate out of 5 star's..its gona be 5! I love it so much and its super cute and colourful! I cant wait to show it off - heehee.

I hope you all enjoyed my in-depth review of the new kawaii clothing range that is coming out at Keep it Secret. I hope all my cute readers will be wanting a statement piece of their own!

So till then, stay Kawaii! Tartan <3

Kawaii interview time- Gobbolino

Today's Kawaii interview is with a retailer. A ebay seller who sells at a store called Gobboline- who have a vast alternative styles with are cute, quirky and street fashion inspired,so lets get on with the interview and get to know the more about Gobbolino!

Hello Gobbolino, Thank you for taking part in Kawaii interview time!
Can you tell us how Gobbolino came to light and who works behind the scenes?

We started our market stall in the electric ballroom in Camden town London in around 1998, I started by chance really. With the idea of doing nail art, at that time no one was doing this at all and I was good with a paint brush.
I got quite experimental piecing peoples nails with braddle putting hoops on. I also started to plait bright coloured hair extensions strands into peoples hair, using a glue gun to seal them to peoples hair. I started to sell a few pieces of clothing on the side, With doing nails and hair gluing business. That was when I noticed that,  I could get more money if I ripped it up and pinned it back together.
Before all that I was a shop girl in the wholesale district in Finsbury Park and had access to buying cheep garments in bulk as well as lots of factories that gave me free scraps of fabric. I was a mouthy little teenage and they probably gave me stuff to get rid of me lol

What inspires you to create/make items for your store?

Ive always had a love of what teenagers are wearing its so fresh new and inspiring. The youth of today is always my inspiration I want to give them what they are looking for.

What fashions would you say fit this store?

Wow, I think for the main part we are an underground brand so we sell anything the high street wouldn't be brave enough to sell.. Its all a bit quirky crazy sexy cool

What items would you recommend for J-fashion an Kawaii fashion from your store.

Kawaii fashion is so much fun super sickly sweet punk fusion its great. We have decoden phone cases, jewellery boxes, doughnut mirrors, crazy junk jewellery that are made from vintage my little Pony's as well has lace lolita headbands, furry bear hats, big bow hair clips in trillions of colours just to name a few

What sort of people  would you say would enjoy shopping with you and your store.
I think its mainly alternative young ladies who are into grunge, indie, punk, kawaii, rockabilly, and goth's too.

Do you have a personal interest in harajuku or Japanese fashion?

It does interest me a lot ? Yes!  I can't wait for my copy of kera magazine to arrive from Japan every month  !

What have found to be the most popular items in your store and why do you think they are so popular?

This year, It has been the year of the head scarf. I think because anyone can rock it!

What pieces have you found most challenging thing you have made and what sneaky insights can you give us to up coming products?

Although at first making furry leg warmers was a great idea. But it became a nightmare to breathe in fake fur fluff!
It gets up your nose, mouth ...in fact everywhere, hand cutting gives you blisters and  its painful , its just horrible to work with. Please don't let furry leg warmers come back into fashion !

Oooh, What's coming next ? Well a large collection of tees and jumpers I've been scribbling and illustrating pictures all winter

What other hopes do you have for Gobbolino for this year?
Its going to be a busy one that's for sure! Lots of meetings of what is coming next - Watch this space!

What do you  like about alternative fashion and aiming your products to that market?

Eccentric mad fashion is so much more fun, I remember at college them suggesting that  I design a collection for wallis . I decided then and there designing for a generic high street store was not for me and I would have to make my own way in this world.

Do you have any idols or inspiration?
I suppose early inspiration was the dark crystal, labyrinth and fantasy films really. Me and my friend would sit around and draw the characters together, its what we did for fun.

Do you have a favourite Kawaii item of your own?

My personal dress sence isn't really kawaii, it doesn't really suit me.. In the summer and spring Im more of a trainer freak, big gold hoops and wear a lot of vintage clothing. I don't really have a set style but this winter i seem to have had a period of just buying everything in black smart look going on.. I also discovered Clarks shoes are actually the most comfort and style I've ever seen wooohhh!

Would you like to visit Japan and what would you do there?

I haven't been to Japan as yet, but its on my list of places to go although I have been exploring in the far east last year

And where can we buy from you?
You can buy on Ebay, Esty and my website!

And you can find me on Facebook and Instagram too!
http://instagram.com/gobbolino_uk

Thank you so much for taking part and telling us more about you and your store! I hope that some of the Kawaii readers will be heading over to your store and be checking it out! I hope every cutie also enjoyed the interview too!

Christmas shopping

Hello everyone, my goodness it is getting so cold! Okay I admit that a person who feels the cold all the time. Which does not make much sense when am living in Scotland, Right?
So I have made a start to my Christmas Shopping ,when I think about it. It is almost done!
Yesterday I went out to a shopping centre with my wee family and bought a few more gifts for my friends. Its only a week in November and am poor already! I think its due to the fact I got back online ans soon as my change of address details changed over I was itching to get spending for Christmas and treat myself! Having no internet really scarred me...(drama queen, Blogger 1st world problems LOL!)

So on a whim we went to a near by shopping centre after my Doctor appointment- Ive got a trapped nerve in my neck that is effecting my left hand nerves too.  *Sobs*

Nothing a bit of retail therapy can not help right? I finished of 3 gifts and got myself a new 2 new belts as my jeans slide down - Don't you hate being stuck between sizes!!
So here is some photo spam for you all!

The centre had its Christmas decorations up the size of those ball's hanging from the roof was a bit scary. I hope they don't fall!!

I love white Christmas trees something magic about them hehe

Am guessing that seat is for a VIP nearer Christmas...not gona catch me near him though, Did you know I am completely scared to death of folk who dress up as Father Christmas, Really creeps me out!

The bear and the polar animals are so cute though.

Some Images below the tree so sparkly and glittery.

How cute is this little display which was found at the main doors of the centre.

I think the little bridge was really sweet, hehe.

After a good bit of wondering around the shops, avoiding Chibi's beans refusal of going into shops and tantrums we stopped for a bite to eat and drink.
Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

I have been crazing Hot Chocolates of late am not sure why maybe cause they are so cosy and sweet!
so yummy!I also got a cherry muffin.
It was super yummy and freshly baked too. When I got back home I found a ''sorry you were out card.''After some debate with Hubby over who's parcel it might be. We had to wait a while till we could go to the post office to collect it. But lucky for me Hubby went out to pick it up,to my delight it was for me, Haha! Yea he when in the huff as he is waiting on lots of pieces for the computer and wires and all that geeky techi stuff of his.

What was inside?! Well it was my long awaited Rilakkuma bear!

a Neko Plush, (to go with my other one from MCM Scotland.) 2 sheets of Stickers and a dust plug for my phone in the shape of a bow in hot pink. Ypu can check out my instagram on the link for more photos.
As well as a busy day I have also been working on a new side project called ''Kawaii Kraze'' I hope to do a post about it real soon!
Lots more to come to the blog!
