Hey girl, where you been? Its Convention time!

Hey, ah-ha so I know am super lacking in blog posts. But I do this for a reason. I want to blog about interesting things as well as doing reviews. I think going out and doing things makes a blog post interesting instead of living behind the computer screen and blogging every day. Also I have my 'To Do List' written out and this is at the top of it . Not to mention every other thing I still have to do or tie up with lose ends. Any way! If any of you wanted to know what I've been up to,  then here it is.

This Month is the start of conventions for me this year and since the start of the year I been working on ideas to cosplay at Comic conventions that are local to me. I am missing so many this year due to a wedding on the other family side. (Yes am pouting about it. Not Kawaii at all but gurl gotta stand up for her thing yuno. *Kawaii bitch right here*) So thanks to this family event I will be missing at least 5 days worth of conventions, with the way travel has worked out and such. Pretty gutted. So might as well take the chance to enjoy all the local ones as much as I can.
(Am also getting a kawaii outfit to wear to the wedding btw as an attempt to make up for missing these conventions so yay!)

The 1st convention I was at , was Dee Con. I been going there for 3 years now and every time the event gets so busy and so many turn up for it. I was working as press coverage for Cyten.co.uk and you can see my write up  and soon ( PROMISE) video footage I  have been fighting  working on , for youtube. It was rather crowded but thankfully the weather was cloudy but dry so most of the time I spent outside . I got to meet up with my fellow cosplayers and fashion friends and had lots of fun. I was in cosplay as Ash, from pokemon. I was super shocked to have many ask me if I was ''Tartan from youtube'' and being asked to have my photo taken with them. A very odd and surreal experience for me!

The next  convention was Edinburgh Comic Con, which was something I went to last year under a different name. I went more for fun and to see if much had changed, This year there was so many other folks . Much more busy than when I was there. So much more cosplay too.
I cosplayed as well - more of a causal cosplay to be honest but it was lots of fun. In the space of five mins I was being asked to have photos taken and then to have this most of the time while at the event. It was very odd. This time I took my poi even though the weather was showers and windy . I kept hope to use them. Which I did. Over all the event was lots of fun.

Talking of poi, this is something I just started doing for maybe for 2 months now.
I wanted to learn something new, I saw fire spinning and was amazed by it, poi is the same thing but no fire. I got a few sets of poi now , tails , scarf and LED ones.
I was super lucky to learn a few moves to use when the sun came out at the event so I braved the chilly weather and got not only a stunning photo by a photographer but some footage of me spinning which the link you can find on my youtube video of the event.

So yeah I have been pretty busy and I have so much to catch up on but thought it was time for a blog post!
Any way here is more photo spam for you all! Till next time, laters.

Just a day out with the Butterflies

Hey-y every cutie!
Today am just sharing some of the cute images I got from Butterfly world- which is a place where they have set up a Butterfly enclosure where you can walk through and be with the butterflies, and if you head on to the back you get to meet some friendly and deadly snakes spiders, and some other creepy crawlies. What's not to love?

Now that the days are longer me and the other half are taking chibi bean out and about places, so this was last week ends trip out. We are gona try and do more of theses trips this coming weekend we should be going to the swim baths and visiting family - cant really take any photos at the swim baths lol  but we are gona check out some other local stuff that I can take photos of. so I thought it be nice to share the photos of butterflies here on the blog. huhuh!

So when you go its its really stuffy and hot.Its like a really big green house and yups ,my lens steamed up - gah!
There was so many pretty plants and green. And the best bit was the butterflies fluttering over your head and going about their business. After a while my lens chilled out and stopped steaming up and then I could go on and take some photos hehe.

There was so many kinds of butterflies here and they said you can see caterpillars in the greenery- I never saw any but they collect them all and move them to the breeding area , where they hatch out and become flying beauty's.

Some of the colours on the butterflies were stunning! I loved the bigger ones and the ones with the brightest colours - too cute! I also had a soft spot for the baby quails running about and the turtles that were hanging out on a small island in the water, There was also Japanese huge fish in the water . I can't mind the names but they were pretty cool and so big!

I could have just sat in there all day, watching them flutter about. Its such a wonderful place to be- magical and you could easily lose track of time.

I did venture into the other part, I have respect for most creatures big and small. I try my best to not judge the way a creature looks so I was quite happy seeing the snakes and lizards, an army of ants walking on a rope above us.

However Spiders - Urgh cant stand them, its not the fact they scare me its fact they have 8 legs, WHY do they need 8 damm legs!
I just cant! ~eee! I think its the bird eating spider and the ones that have health bars that creep me out that at being in a small dark room with them all, and wondering if that enclosure over there ...should be empty..

After spending a good while , capturing images and such. Even has some staff giving me a help look for good shots- bless em! We  then headed out to the Garden centre next door and had a lovely lunch. We had a wonder about and I got a treat of a pack of macaroons!- Yay!
We had a great fun day. So am just going to leave the rest of the images down below!
Enjoy!

Kawaii Halloween ideas and sugestions

Hello My Kawaii Lovers
Halloween is drawing near,I love the fun around Halloween, but its more than just about the trick and treats to me. *nods nods*

Halloween is the time were the links to the living world and the other side are lifted and thinned out.

The idea of us dressing up as zombies ghosts and witches and other scary things was to confuse the departed  and lost souls that walked with the living on Halloween night. That they could not tell who was who, to spook and scare on this long dark creepy night.
Jack 'o lanterns made from Turnips and Pumpkins craved with faces sat out side homes to scare away evil spirits and Candles burned to guide the departed loved ones back to the other side safely.

I love the darkness of Halloween but I also find that us Kawaii Lovers like to make it very Creepy yet very cute.

Dressing up is one way to do it,You have a range of Kawaii Ideas to pick from Hello Kitty outfits to becoming a Princess from Disney though how that may confuse the walking dead beats me
@.@'

Decorations have changed a lot  you can know get some really creepy real looking ones and then the more light hearted fun and child likes ones.Pumpkin Carving also seems to become a art and contest in some places too!

Some like to go crazy and Dress up and put alot of work into there Halloween outfits, some look so real and some are so scary and others are utterly KAWAII!
Others may theme their day to day outfit a bit more spooky than normal than dress up.
As you all know I'm dressing up as a Fairy and Chibi bean is dressing up as a Witch.
^_^

Here are some cute ideas for you all!
Why not look for cute spooky t-shirts that tend to come out at this time of year.
Look at Halloween themed Jewellery that most small businesses like to bring out at this time of year.
Look at clip in colours for your hair likes of orange green and purple for some fun and check out some nice wigs too.
Dress up your house with cute looking spooky decorations.
Try making your own ones too.
Or why not be a bit more daring and Cosplay from a anime that's related to Halloween.
Your pick how you want to celebrate Halloween but most of all Have lots of fun!
I will post up photos of my outfit and decorations for you soon.
Look out for more of my Halloween Posts!
Stay super Kawaii
