Conventions so far this year.

So this year, its my year of conventions this year. Starting off with a Edinburgh based one called Capital Sci Fi Con. Which you guessed it was mainly about all things Geeky and Sci Fi. For this Con I made up a (Fem) Darth Vader Causal Cosplay. Which was really weird for me cause I had not idea how I would act or be like as Vader . I mean am a huge fan of Lord Vader but yeah am more your magical hero girl than anything like that . So that was really weird for me. However I did get to meet up with tons of fellow cos players whom I have not seen in ages and hang out with my deco girly pal too. It was also super nice meeting new folks at the Con as well as hanging out with those I already have mingled and chilled with before.

Hey girl, where you been? Its Convention time!

Hey, ah-ha so I know am super lacking in blog posts. But I do this for a reason. I want to blog about interesting things as well as doing reviews. I think going out and doing things makes a blog post interesting instead of living behind the computer screen and blogging every day. Also I have my 'To Do List' written out and this is at the top of it . Not to mention every other thing I still have to do or tie up with lose ends. Any way! If any of you wanted to know what I've been up to,  then here it is.

This Month is the start of conventions for me this year and since the start of the year I been working on ideas to cosplay at Comic conventions that are local to me. I am missing so many this year due to a wedding on the other family side. (Yes am pouting about it. Not Kawaii at all but gurl gotta stand up for her thing yuno. *Kawaii bitch right here*) So thanks to this family event I will be missing at least 5 days worth of conventions, with the way travel has worked out and such. Pretty gutted. So might as well take the chance to enjoy all the local ones as much as I can.
(Am also getting a kawaii outfit to wear to the wedding btw as an attempt to make up for missing these conventions so yay!)

The 1st convention I was at , was Dee Con. I been going there for 3 years now and every time the event gets so busy and so many turn up for it. I was working as press coverage for Cyten.co.uk and you can see my write up  and soon ( PROMISE) video footage I  have been fighting  working on , for youtube. It was rather crowded but thankfully the weather was cloudy but dry so most of the time I spent outside . I got to meet up with my fellow cosplayers and fashion friends and had lots of fun. I was in cosplay as Ash, from pokemon. I was super shocked to have many ask me if I was ''Tartan from youtube'' and being asked to have my photo taken with them. A very odd and surreal experience for me!

The next  convention was Edinburgh Comic Con, which was something I went to last year under a different name. I went more for fun and to see if much had changed, This year there was so many other folks . Much more busy than when I was there. So much more cosplay too.
I cosplayed as well - more of a causal cosplay to be honest but it was lots of fun. In the space of five mins I was being asked to have photos taken and then to have this most of the time while at the event. It was very odd. This time I took my poi even though the weather was showers and windy . I kept hope to use them. Which I did. Over all the event was lots of fun.

Talking of poi, this is something I just started doing for maybe for 2 months now.
I wanted to learn something new, I saw fire spinning and was amazed by it, poi is the same thing but no fire. I got a few sets of poi now , tails , scarf and LED ones.
I was super lucky to learn a few moves to use when the sun came out at the event so I braved the chilly weather and got not only a stunning photo by a photographer but some footage of me spinning which the link you can find on my youtube video of the event.

So yeah I have been pretty busy and I have so much to catch up on but thought it was time for a blog post!
Any way here is more photo spam for you all! Till next time, laters.

Luna.TU Review

Hey every one, how are you all doing?
I have a review for you all and some links to my newest Videos! Today review is from the online line store LunaTU . It is a new online web store that sells Japanese and Koren make up , skin care and beauty items. There is even a Kawaii section too. Any way I put in a order with them last Thursday and my order came on Saturday- yea my review is a tad late but I had some beauty out brakes and my skin was like woah!! Easy now, take a time out and go all natural. But after a lot of detoxing .So did I get around to testing the items from my order. So here is my review for you all!

My order came really fast and was well wrapped in Bubble wrap.I ordered 3 items. The website gives a clear description on each item. I got a lip mask, a lip moisture/concealer and eye-liner. All the items came in a super cute packaging. Kawaii ~
Sorry in advance of the , lack of photos- I happend to use the items in a video before I wrote in my blog!

So lets check out the items! 1st up is the lip  concealer, made for toning down red lips and moisture. Doubled up as a lip base for under your fave lippy or gloss. The product is cute and small with a stick of shimmery nude pink. I used it under my own normal bright lippy for a even tone and bring out the shade from the lippy I use, ( Barry M btw.)

This item can be used alone as well and I think it would be a girls best friend for doing 'Dolly'' or 'Rose bud style'' lips. It glides on very easy and smooth and shimmery. The other Lip product I got was the Glossy Lip mask. Omg this product was amazing. weird at first to use but yea wow. I love it it left my lips feeling super and I mean super ,soft and moist. You can have it on for 5- 30 mins. It looks really creepy on but its really amazing!

The final product I ordered was the Sailor moon Miracle Romance, Black Eye liner. A 20th Anniversary product. which came packed and all pretty. The eye liner pen is also cute. Pastel pink with gems and images all over it such as a moon and even Luna the cat. Its quite a small eye liner pen to what am used too.I picked the Black shade.
The eye liner is a felt thin and I mean super thin tip(0.1mm)!! That is something I have not seen over here in the UK market of eye liners. I have given this a go and it glides on so well and you can layer it up to thicken the liner on your lids.

Over all am very happy with my order. Again because there was a lack of presentation my order didn't feel very Kawaii when opening. (Again this is a total personal thing of mine. I cant help it that I think every thing must be super cute!!!) Hehe.
However. I can seem me ordering again. I would say from what I have tried already . I would like to try the lip mask again it was really good. I would want to try other products too such as the skin care and would recommend this shop . I look forward to all the new exciting products that will be stocked soon.

Hope you all like my review!
Till later Tartan <3
