What's in your Bag, A Kawaii Mummy Post!

Hello every cutie!
Hope you all  seen doing well! Nya! So I thought I would do a fun post, I've seen these on you tube and other formats of media and thought I would give it ago . huhuh! Am the type of person to like to have a range of bags for different things so I will give you a run through on the ones I used the most!

My first bag is my cute personal bag which is not used as often, I used this bag with my close friends, itsoften a smaller bag that only fits my must needs. Which contains the following of my house keys, phone and purse. Yep- I only use this if we are shopping or a day trip out. Maybe if am not straying to far from the house , I might use it. Or heading to the movies with my friends. I would use the likes of my cartoon 3D bag or some thing like a clutch bag .  Or if I really want to show off I will pick some thing bright or fancy like my loungefly bag. (Love that bag!)

The next bag  would be my bag I used the most which is often my larger sized bags or a tote shopper style bag, those bags are great, right!? I guess I would call this the Kawaii Mummy bag  I really do like my handbags hehe. These are only some of them mind you. Most are the shopper style which helps get everything inside for what am needing . I like my bags to look fun cute and quirky so am always looking for cute new bags! (shh don't tell the hubby! ' I have enough bags...said no woman ever!)  I will used these shopper bags a lot  they are much more cuter looking that plastic bags, so I tend to used these when I need to pop out and get some stuff from the local shop.

When it comes to events I will be using these bags or my more smaller ones, maybe some bags will go with my inspired outfits too,( watch this space!) but they will be teamed up with my Camera bag.  I have not found a super kawaii looking camera bag yet- I need one that is super safe to use for my camera to keep it from damage when travelling.

So what do I keep in my Bags?
Well because am a Mummy I have
to be on the ball! Ready for any thing well as much as I can be lol.

Well here we go, First off in my bag I have my personal items one being my Kawaii cute looking Purse- I love using this purse, its so colourful and bright. It seems to soften the blow when I spend my money  I also carry my Phone in my bag or on me when I have pockets!
I also  have a small compact mirror, A pen that is both red and blue ink, very handy to have one in my bag, I have My Dairy which I need alot with all these events and dates and a small note book which was a gift form a Fan! Its super handy to have a note book at hand when am out and about. I also have my 'Baby' Lip colour balm. All us yummy kawaii mummy's still need a treat of make up right!? I also keep pair of finger-less gloves cause its still pretty cold-ish weather. What else?
Oh I keep a book on me for the times at play group when none of the friendly mummy's are not there and handy to have a book on the train too to keep me busy.

Because Chibi bean is more of a toddler than a baby now she is over 3 she no longer needs bottles. So what I have in my Kawaii Mummy bag will be things I take such as a change of clothing if am taking her some where that is a good ride away.
What I don't have shown also is the juice cup I bring about with me you can never be over prepared, haha and some very important  bribe   treats in my bag too. hehe.  I have a few spare pull up pants for chibiThese are a must have in case of accidents! Baby wipes are also very important too, Any mummy can tell you that they are very handy to have. From wiping messy hands to those awkward moments when you find yourself in a public toilet with no toilet paper!  Gah!
Oh also the last item that I have in my bag is that funny looking green thing, which is a jungle themed fold away potty lid/seat, A few weeks back we were caught short and Chibi did not like the idea of using a adult size potty and refused to use it. So I hunted high and low for something to take on the go! It's a clever idea, you just unfold it and place it over the toilet. Sorted! It is also super light weight to pop into my hand bag, even better!

Well I hope you at least found my post some what interesting or amusing with the random things I have in my handbag! huhuh.
Enjoy the rest of your day cuties!

And time for a new wig and bag!

Hey-y every cutie!
Today I wanted to show you my newest wig. Know am a complete wig snob. huhuh. Okay maybe snob is not the word. Am very picky when it comes to wigs. I often buy from the lockshop but due to the lack of shorter styles , I have not bought from them in a while, I like my mid-length and shorter wigs. They are much easier to look after!

So I happen to be surfing on ebay when I spotted a few wigs, when I looked at the price , I thought well if the wig is so bad at least it only £6.  Right know I cant afford any Brand wigs with my debt of buying my camera and buying the equipment each month. So I thought . I would chance it. I picked this wig here.

I liked its shade and length. I didnt have high hopes as looking at the other items they looked like cheep cosplay items so I wondered it it was going to be a hit or miss.Well lucky for me mine was a hit. The wig is actually not to bad. Its super light and that will be due to the weave's of hair being super spaced apart , Its is adjustable for size. It came with a wig cap which is super handy . The fibers are soft but I have had softer than this. (see so fussy about wigs haha!) It do have the skin top scalp bit at the crown of the wig too.

The bangs/ fringe are long but not overly long that you have to trim it. I swept mine to the side. The colour is very close to the picture and very natural. ( my camera picked up warmer tones ~eeek) So here is a worn picture.

I like this wig for what I paid for its a bargain, I have no idea how long it will last or if its a good wig as I have only worn it for a day and a half. The best thing about this colour is its very close to the shade my daughter is naturally and she loves it when mummy looks like her haha  She can be so cute. The colour of this wig is very natural and works well with my skin tones. I am a natural Jet black and slightly olive in complexion so I can get away with most shades. Am not sure what I will end up doing with this wig if - I might use it for causal wear and days out and about with the little one. I have ordered 2 more wigs from the same seller. So I will be able to see if this is a case of a hit or miss from this place too. heh. I will let you know how they go - one will be an alternative wig to wear when am being a maid at Marshmallow Dream Maids.
So the other thing I wanted to show you today is my cheeky and funky bag its like a 3D effect bag, cartoon style. Its so funky and Kawaii! From the photo it looks so big right? DO NOT BE FOOLED! I was fully aware it was a small and flat bag!  Its got a tiny inside I can only fit in my purse, phone, Keys and Babywipes...yes the wise Kawaii mummy puts baby wipes in every bag! You end up using wipes for everything as a mummy haha!  I might be able to put a spare Pull up nappy in there but I would not be using this bag as I have other ''Kawaii Mummy bags'' to use lol!
The prices of these bags range a bit on ebay and they have a few to pick from. I love the over all quirky-ness of the bag and its something I will use if am nipping into the city or the local shops on my own or such. Plus is just so kawaii! Though Chibi bean has been eyeing it up - its only a matter of time of her claiming it as her own.
Hope you all enjoyed my post today!

Just a day out with the Butterflies

Hey-y every cutie!
Today am just sharing some of the cute images I got from Butterfly world- which is a place where they have set up a Butterfly enclosure where you can walk through and be with the butterflies, and if you head on to the back you get to meet some friendly and deadly snakes spiders, and some other creepy crawlies. What's not to love?

Now that the days are longer me and the other half are taking chibi bean out and about places, so this was last week ends trip out. We are gona try and do more of theses trips this coming weekend we should be going to the swim baths and visiting family - cant really take any photos at the swim baths lol  but we are gona check out some other local stuff that I can take photos of. so I thought it be nice to share the photos of butterflies here on the blog. huhuh!

So when you go its its really stuffy and hot.Its like a really big green house and yups ,my lens steamed up - gah!
There was so many pretty plants and green. And the best bit was the butterflies fluttering over your head and going about their business. After a while my lens chilled out and stopped steaming up and then I could go on and take some photos hehe.

There was so many kinds of butterflies here and they said you can see caterpillars in the greenery- I never saw any but they collect them all and move them to the breeding area , where they hatch out and become flying beauty's.

Some of the colours on the butterflies were stunning! I loved the bigger ones and the ones with the brightest colours - too cute! I also had a soft spot for the baby quails running about and the turtles that were hanging out on a small island in the water, There was also Japanese huge fish in the water . I can't mind the names but they were pretty cool and so big!

I could have just sat in there all day, watching them flutter about. Its such a wonderful place to be- magical and you could easily lose track of time.

I did venture into the other part, I have respect for most creatures big and small. I try my best to not judge the way a creature looks so I was quite happy seeing the snakes and lizards, an army of ants walking on a rope above us.

However Spiders - Urgh cant stand them, its not the fact they scare me its fact they have 8 legs, WHY do they need 8 damm legs!
I just cant! ~eee! I think its the bird eating spider and the ones that have health bars that creep me out that at being in a small dark room with them all, and wondering if that enclosure over there ...should be empty..

After spending a good while , capturing images and such. Even has some staff giving me a help look for good shots- bless em! We  then headed out to the Garden centre next door and had a lovely lunch. We had a wonder about and I got a treat of a pack of macaroons!- Yay!
We had a great fun day. So am just going to leave the rest of the images down below!
Enjoy!

Colourful and Kawaii!

Hey every cutie.

This week I got a new purse in the post , I found this little cute online store called 'Very Kawaii.'

It has a small selection of kawaii goods, But one item caught my eye. See ,I normally use my Lounge fly x Hello Kitty wallet but cause its made with very tough material and is so new ( I got it at Christmas.) I find it a bit annoying to use and I end up looking so silly trying to open up this purse, trying not to spill out all my money every where.

So I had made a point to get myself a nice stress free wallet. Because having a 3 year old tugging at my coat because she wants a kinder egg, when I am paying for my shopping is stressful enough now she has so much more freedom being off the walking toddler rains. So finding this little kawaii gem was very handy.

I saw this cute wallet and fell in love with it , It's about the same size as my Hello Kitty one but I have to say it was the colours that attracted me to the item. Its got some cute buttons on it and is made up of cute colours, even inside it has bright cute colours. It has got a place for your cards, A place to add any kawaii photos you like to carry around and then it has the part for coins's that has a zip to keep them safe. As well as other parts to keep notes and even bits of paper which happen to have a list of the thing's I need to buy or remember- huhuh.

It has a popper button to fasten it together and its very light weight. The material is very  soft and has a nice glossy look to it too.It cost me £9.99 plus the postage. It didn't take long to get here either. I came in the post very fast. That might be due to the fact this online shop is in the UK.

At the moment there is not much in the online store but I do hope they will be able to bring in some very cute items that are different to your normal kawaii retailer. With this purse being a great example. As I have not found anything as cute as this in other shops and I happen to be quite active in looking for great Kawaii buys!

So they are worth checking out!
Online shop link found here!

The other thing I have bought that is super colourful and cute are these hair bands/ hair bobbles, they are from a ebay seller/shop called Gobboline. Who sell a huge range of Kawaii/ Harajuku clothing, accessories among other things . I bought from them in the past. This time I bought these cute hair bobbles to use as Pom pom bracelets for some photos for a outfit. Am not sure if these are the real fairy kei style but I might have sweet heart in Japan who can find the ones you find in Japan. Till then these ones will be useful for other things.

The other thing I bought a the start of the year was a custom piece of jewellery made by the lovely Roxiesweet Heart! I came up with a idea  ,that I was inspired from a other necklace but I wanted it too look even more kawaii and colourful! More funky looking and super fun and cute. I wanted it to look bold and be a statement piece too. Roxiesweet Heart was up for the challenge and with her magic made a magical piece of Kawaii for me! I only got it in the post and its just soo cool. I love the colours and the magical acrylic that has been used its mirror like effect but its also see-through and shimmers in different shades! Its also got the cutest looking font and text with a chunky cute chain. Oh and the extra added gems added to the piece!Am super happy with it - I do like my statement pieces heehee!

Well that's my current Colourful and Kawaii update for you all! Hope you have been inspired to bring more colour into your life too!

Stay Kawaii!

Keep it Secret's *NEW* Kawaii Range!

Hello every Cutie!
Today I will be a sponsored review for keep-it-secret. Your UK retailer of Kawaii goodies. This is a very exciting review because these are BRAND NEW IN!
Coming soon!!
So with out further a due, I give you the most Kawaii, pop culture clothing line, that is only available at Keep it Secret in the UK.
JUIZYWOOZY!
I have been in love with this brand as soon as I lay my eyes on it! I have wanted some of their stuff so long! Its a colourful vibrate and the most kawaii designs. huhuh I fell in love- so much Kawaii.
So I got my parcel in the post and am going to show you what I got ! eee!

Item Arrival
This is the item boxed- how cute it this?! Its shaped and designed as a milk carton and is so colourful and cute. There is even a window part to see your item- nyaa cute. I love the designs and images the milk carton.
The product I got to review was inside, Its a Jumper and when I took it out the first thing I noticed how soft it was- like super soft.

The Item
Once laid out  you can see the jumper is long sleeved  has a image on it. The image is very clear and very big. Great for a statement piece. The colour is a lovely sky blue, I was super happy to get a colour I don't own or wear much as I saw this as a great chance to experiment with making up a outfit.
I really had a hard time at 1stas I had nothing to go with the blue ...but because there is few pink details in the jumper. I teamed it up with other pinks to make a nice overall look. The Slogan on the top says '' Feeling blue.'' and the picture is a super cute bear  wearing a pink and white bow tie, whom seems to have used the paint bucket to paint lots of blue . Under the slogan it has some Kanji and  the juizy woozy signature. It also has a printed juizy woozy on the back at the base of the neck. You will find this item is also a round neck line shape. nyaa its just so cute!

Size
This line of product have their own sizing system. They are numbers 1-4 and a 1 works out as a extra small or a uk 6 , The  2 works out as small and a uk 8, The  3 a medium and a uk 10, and  finally the 4 works out as a large and is a uk 12.
I got a 2 size which is a uk 8. Am a size 10-12 UK size ( I love baggy jumpers!) and I found this jumper to be a nice size on me and it has some room so you can layer up in the colder weather! So am very happy with the size and  it is made of very soft 100% combed cotton.

Product quality
The image is printed on to the jumper, I checked the inside to see if print was sticky on the inside. I find some times jumpers or tops often have that and it is annoying but its not the case hear- yay!
The Jumper is not the thickest jumper I own , but its not paper thin either which means you just layer up on colder weather and you can wear this jumper with out melting either. haha! All the stitching is neat and tidy. I found no lose threads .So am super happy with the quality of this jumper

Over all thoughts
Over all, I love my jumper, is is super comfortable on and so colourful, The box is came in is so cute and the character on the jumper is so sweet and adorable If you love the fashion and pop - culture this is your sort of thing. I would recommend these to a friend who also likes this kind of style and will be looking forward to more item that will be coming into stock! I have seen some sneaky insights at Keep it Secrets Instagram and fallen in love with some of the other items.

Rate out of 5 star's..its gona be 5! I love it so much and its super cute and colourful! I cant wait to show it off - heehee.

I hope you all enjoyed my in-depth review of the new kawaii clothing range that is coming out at Keep it Secret. I hope all my cute readers will be wanting a statement piece of their own!

So till then, stay Kawaii! Tartan <3

Kawaii interview time- Gobbolino

Today's Kawaii interview is with a retailer. A ebay seller who sells at a store called Gobboline- who have a vast alternative styles with are cute, quirky and street fashion inspired,so lets get on with the interview and get to know the more about Gobbolino!

Hello Gobbolino, Thank you for taking part in Kawaii interview time!
Can you tell us how Gobbolino came to light and who works behind the scenes?

We started our market stall in the electric ballroom in Camden town London in around 1998, I started by chance really. With the idea of doing nail art, at that time no one was doing this at all and I was good with a paint brush.
I got quite experimental piecing peoples nails with braddle putting hoops on. I also started to plait bright coloured hair extensions strands into peoples hair, using a glue gun to seal them to peoples hair. I started to sell a few pieces of clothing on the side, With doing nails and hair gluing business. That was when I noticed that,  I could get more money if I ripped it up and pinned it back together.
Before all that I was a shop girl in the wholesale district in Finsbury Park and had access to buying cheep garments in bulk as well as lots of factories that gave me free scraps of fabric. I was a mouthy little teenage and they probably gave me stuff to get rid of me lol

What inspires you to create/make items for your store?

Ive always had a love of what teenagers are wearing its so fresh new and inspiring. The youth of today is always my inspiration I want to give them what they are looking for.

What fashions would you say fit this store?

Wow, I think for the main part we are an underground brand so we sell anything the high street wouldn't be brave enough to sell.. Its all a bit quirky crazy sexy cool

What items would you recommend for J-fashion an Kawaii fashion from your store.

Kawaii fashion is so much fun super sickly sweet punk fusion its great. We have decoden phone cases, jewellery boxes, doughnut mirrors, crazy junk jewellery that are made from vintage my little Pony's as well has lace lolita headbands, furry bear hats, big bow hair clips in trillions of colours just to name a few

What sort of people  would you say would enjoy shopping with you and your store.
I think its mainly alternative young ladies who are into grunge, indie, punk, kawaii, rockabilly, and goth's too.

Do you have a personal interest in harajuku or Japanese fashion?

It does interest me a lot ? Yes!  I can't wait for my copy of kera magazine to arrive from Japan every month  !

What have found to be the most popular items in your store and why do you think they are so popular?

This year, It has been the year of the head scarf. I think because anyone can rock it!

What pieces have you found most challenging thing you have made and what sneaky insights can you give us to up coming products?

Although at first making furry leg warmers was a great idea. But it became a nightmare to breathe in fake fur fluff!
It gets up your nose, mouth ...in fact everywhere, hand cutting gives you blisters and  its painful , its just horrible to work with. Please don't let furry leg warmers come back into fashion !

Oooh, What's coming next ? Well a large collection of tees and jumpers I've been scribbling and illustrating pictures all winter

What other hopes do you have for Gobbolino for this year?
Its going to be a busy one that's for sure! Lots of meetings of what is coming next - Watch this space!

What do you  like about alternative fashion and aiming your products to that market?

Eccentric mad fashion is so much more fun, I remember at college them suggesting that  I design a collection for wallis . I decided then and there designing for a generic high street store was not for me and I would have to make my own way in this world.

Do you have any idols or inspiration?
I suppose early inspiration was the dark crystal, labyrinth and fantasy films really. Me and my friend would sit around and draw the characters together, its what we did for fun.

Do you have a favourite Kawaii item of your own?

My personal dress sence isn't really kawaii, it doesn't really suit me.. In the summer and spring Im more of a trainer freak, big gold hoops and wear a lot of vintage clothing. I don't really have a set style but this winter i seem to have had a period of just buying everything in black smart look going on.. I also discovered Clarks shoes are actually the most comfort and style I've ever seen wooohhh!

Would you like to visit Japan and what would you do there?

I haven't been to Japan as yet, but its on my list of places to go although I have been exploring in the far east last year

And where can we buy from you?
You can buy on Ebay, Esty and my website!

And you can find me on Facebook and Instagram too!
http://instagram.com/gobbolino_uk

Thank you so much for taking part and telling us more about you and your store! I hope that some of the Kawaii readers will be heading over to your store and be checking it out! I hope every cutie also enjoyed the interview too!
